Vioce Control Disabled. How to get support to get fixed

Recommended Posts

I have been stumped with this issue (voice control disabled) for weeks now. Trawled thru (support) forums at nasea and I'm not getting anywhere.
Have an email support process on the go with Codemasters but this is not going anywhere. One question at a time, simple stuff, all covered off previously thru forum info and each email takes 2 to 3 days to turn around to the next.
My system meets the recommended specs ie: 4 core, 8Gig RAM, GTX970, headset and mic are Logitech G930 and work fine with everything else including Cortana .
Disabled pretty much everything and still nothing. Languages set to USEnglish. Only my Region is New Zealand but surely this shouldn't matter?

What is the best way to get some traction toward some actual support for a resolution? I paid good money for this game and like it but voice control is needed to converse with pit crew as strategy changes during a race and I am to damn busy racing to start using the keyboard for comms.

Any and all help greatly appreciated.

Yes, did a full reinstall, however Inoticed my career history and settings all stayed as before so I wonder if the issue re voice control disabled also got transferred to the new install? About to do a Win 10 re-install inplace which should reset Win 10 (although SFC etc all checked out clean)

Hi @TinkerNZ456, a reinstall will not help. Some English language locales such as New Zealand do not work correctly.

If you can find a way to change your client to think you're in Australia or the UK etc this should start working, I'm afraid I don't know how you can change this in Steam, you could change your country or rejoin in Windows but that's rather an extreme way to try to work around this problem.
