Multiplayer Championchip AI balance

Recommended Posts

I'm new to this forum, so I wanna start off with a hi to everyone. ;-)
Here is my question: I used to play with a friend of mine the coop-championship in earlier games. This time we finished one multiplayer season with ai on expert driving for McLaren. For our 2nd season we wanna split teams, so he's going with Red Bull, me picking Ferrari. But what to do with the AI then? Put them on realistic or on even? Does realistic mean, I have an disadvantage because Ferrari is slightly slower than Red Bull? And what does "even" mean? Would that make every car, even the Manors and Saubers have the same speed as the top teams, or just the two multiplayer cars level with the AI still in the normal speed order of Mercedes first, manor and sauber last?
Would be nice if anyone could explain this. So Thanks in advance. :-)

Hi, here goes. It makes no difference what so ever if you choose equal or realistic for the AI. The AI will be on realistic ( real life performance ) no matter what. It only matters with the human players. So, equal will mean you can compete with the Mercedes etc, and yes you will be the same speed as the Redbull, Sauber etc. Realistic on the other hand will mean Red bull has an advantage over you the Ferrari.

Hi and thank you for the quick answer. Another question that came up: when we decide to go equal, is there any indication what speed we will have? So if one decides to pick Hamiltons car and the other one races as wehrlein, do we both battle rosberg for the chip or against haryanto in the back of the field?
