thedevil6666666 0 Posted December 20, 2016 I guessing i'm not the only who hopes that Codemasters don't receive the f12017 licence.... who can deliver us the game we all want to play no bugs no glitch's no tyre wear issues.. what really piss me off is when i bought the game before all of these broken patches i think 1.2.0 was the best of the lot and the game was pretty good.........Now my question is: Who can take the f1 rights and deliver us a game which we are all satisfied with a game which behaves correctly a game where the race line don't direct you in to a wall a game which the starting tyre don't dictate you tyre wear.......Do you really think a new developer would be able to cope with the pressure of delivering a good game starting from scratch.... something i doubt.... will there be an f12017? coolieboy 0 Posted December 20, 2016 Any development team applying for the license will be competent to create an F1 game. The FOM will not hand that over to just anyone. My choices are Reiza, 2K sports, and EA. If I remember correctly isn't Rubens Barrichello a consultant with Reiza? I could be wrong.

F1 2K17 could be a promising idea :)

Yeah a pc only game that looks worse then F1 2010 is exactly how the F1 Franshise should develop......Imo the F1 games schould ve multiplatform titles that are sim enough to please the hardcore fans, but is also accessible to beginners. Tbh if we look at racing game developers outsideof polyphony or Turn 10 who are serving only one platform i think codies are the best choice, despite the glitchtes F1 2016 turned out to be a good game, that is only hindered now by two three major bugs.Unfortunatly those two /three bugs are so gamebreaking that they hinder the enjoyment of the game massively
FOneFanatic 182 Posted December 21, 2016 Codemasters haven't yet declined the license to build the console versions of this game and I believe that's the question right there. I think they should stick with it, the game is almost perfect!
Bcolt93 0 Posted December 21, 2016 I think Codies should keep the license. They've done a good job with the series as much as we complain, and with a couple fixes in key areas and listening to the community a little more they can continue to improve. A new studio coming in and making F1 games would set us so far back
sjsharp2010 226 Posted December 21, 2016 Personally I think I'd like CM to keep the license as 2016 on thje whole is a good game. I think the ideas they put into career mode are pretty solid but they need more work and the R&D system in the game needs to be more meaningful and be useful throughout all 10 seasons not just the first 3/4 of it. I haven't been playing it lately but that's more down to me not really being in the mood.
extracurricularturd 4 Posted December 21, 2016 If Codemasters were to lose it now then there would be no F1 2017 and if there is then it would be a botch !
speeddemon8021 0 Posted December 21, 2016 I'd like someone who actually listens and communicates with its customers,if codies could start to treat us with a bit more respect and stop all the silent treatment then they are the best team for the job without a doubt because 2013 was excellent IMO and 2016 is not far off of being a really good game if they would get off their arses and fix the game breakers. Its just the way they treat us as consumers really sticks in my throat and makes me want them to lose the license. MikeV27 19 Posted December 22, 2016 I hope Codemasters keeps licence or else there will be no F1 game in 2017. OP is talking out of his arse.
