Dirt 4 car whishlist

Kickup has confirmed a Focus WRC, so yes they can. I don't think the 1.6 liter ones can though, it has to be earlier than that.

2017 has new regulations so all cars from 2016 and back cant be under licence? I hate all these licences... the focus 2007 did have abu dahbi livery in dirt 3 but not in dirt rally.. even slre has that livery.. licence = bullshit

It all depends on how much money you are willing to throw at it.

And the FIA don't want people to think that dirt rally is the official WRC game

It doesn't seem Toyota want to play ball for this game too. Also no recent WRC, especially 2017s because the FIA says so.
I know Codemasters said that, but when Toyota was contacted (Regarding Dirt Rally) they said they had no record of any request from Codemasters and then went on to mention they love having their cars represented mentioning Forza and Sebastion Loeb Rally Evo.   Who knows what is true, and it could come down to nuances like Toyota themselves not being in charge of that particular license, perhaps an affiliate does etc...I'm not trying to bash any group or company here.  I'm just saying it would be nice to have one of the top WRC cars of all time in the game as for some it is quite missed..  It would definitely be in the top of my Wishlist.

I believe CM said they were much more successful in the "making friends" department this time around. I did interpret that as they were able to solve certain licenses but it doesn't feel like it as the car roster is more or less the same with afew newcomers but other missing.

Time will tell!

I doubt its Toyota.  BUT Id love the GT86 R3 for a bit of diversity amongst the FWD's in that class

(if there is a 'that class')

There hasn't been an R3 class confirmed yet. Paul confirmed all the car classes on Reddit

Now the Porsche license is available, I'd love to see an R-GT class: how good would it be to have the Porsche 911 GT3 R-GT, Fiat 124 Spider R-GT and Lotus Exige R-GT available to drive!

If they are prohibited from using the 1.6 litre WRC's it would be so so nice if they could flesh out the 2.0 litre WRC category. I doubt it will happen but man that would be epic!

Sucks we cant even get the 2010 class back from dirt rally. I was hoping for at least a 2016 class of wrc car. Stayed optimistic that we'd get the new 2017 cars, but the WRC/FIA or whoever is in charge of that license is hosing us...You would think that they would want their cars/series put out there as much as you could.

Not when the game is directly competing with your own official game. And said competitor has the far superior game.

It's a pretty bad reason, but I can atleast see what they may have been thinking.

Allow me to update my wishlist:

F2 Kit Cars:
- Renault Mégane Maxi - 1999 FIA 2 liter World Cup winner.

WRC cars:
- Citroën C4 WRC - Loeb won more world championships (4), with this car, than any other Citroën made. That and 3 constructors titles. Only Citroën model I would personally want. Plus, the brand, in general is tough to license, so just the one would do.
- Peugeot 206 WRC - 3 consecutive world constructors championships. Two times world drivers championship.
- Subaru Impreza WRC (S11) - Petter Solberg's 2003 championship winning car.
- Skoda Fabia WRC - If Skoda is included, then the car of Colin Mcrae's last appearance in the WRC would be nice.

R5:
- Hyundai i20
- Skoda Fabia

Ah, screw it, why not? I'm assuming Toyota isn't possible still and most cars from DR will make it.

R2 (if three cars)
- Ford Fiesta
- Peugeot 208
- Opel Adam

R5 (if four cars)
- Ford Fiesta
- Skoda Fabia
- Peugeot 208
- Hyundai i20
(- if the Toyota Yaris or VW Polo R5s get launched this year, they'd be good DLC options...)

H2 (RWD)
- Porsche 911
- Datsun Violet 160J

H1 (FWD)
- Saab 96

Modern 2000cc (2000s WRC)
- Peugeot 206
- I'd actually like to see the '07 Focus removed if the C4 is gone, it just doesn't fit IMO.

I will admit that there is only "one" car that i truly hope to see in Dirt 4 that's been missing.

Renault clio Gr.A (williams) / Renault clio maxi kitcar (90's)

New models are great too!

There's only one class I'm waiting for to make an appearance again in a proper rally game.
The very first generation of WRC cars: Impreza S4 / S5 WRC, Escort WRC, Corolla WRC, Cordoba WRC, Octavia WRC, the 1st 206 WRC

- Subaru Impreza WRC (S11) - Petter Solberg's 2003 championship winning car.
IMPREZA NERD ALERT: Solberg won the 2003 title in an S9 WRC @warpengage (the S11 was the 2005 car)

It made the Kessel Run in less than 12 parsecs, so yeah.
Too slow:

Milky Way to Pegasus (next to Andromeda) in 4 days.
A Parsec is a unit of distance, not time, so speed doesn't really matter that much here. Just saying

I know, but the Hyperdrive of Stargate is quicker than the SW hyperdrive. Since we're talking about fast "cars", I figured it would be a good counter. I also don't expect scientific accuracy from SW.

There have been theories about that, it might not be scientifically wrong. Maybe doing the Kessel run the long way round is the easy option and finding a shorter route, possibly close to some imperial checkpoints, is something to brag about
