Of course you can use the term 'couple' incorrectly, people in the states are terrabad at it! :(

However, the 2 came from a Twitter convon i had with Christina, they're waiting on a
"couple of items to check off, maybe with the same entity" 

That could be two details for one car, dunno, but we do know this is referencing car(s) as the question I linked to why they haven't published the final car list yet.

True that, although it may well just be liveries or final details for ones we've already seen in preview builds. Hope I'm wrong though!

I'll change my bet. If these items are indeed cars, then the Peugeot 208 R2 and the 307 CC make the most sense. 3 R2 were present in an earlier internal build. One may have been removed from the Barcelona build due to licensing. I forgot about the 206 being denied and, just out of curiosity, I checked again that wall of cars they have at their office. I know the wall doesn't translate to "will be in the game", but it could mean what cars Codemasters are likely to look into. What they have there, in the older WRC section, is not a 206 but a 307.

In twitter they uploaded a picture of the Abarth 131 and written that Dirt 4 will have two easter eggs, which I think obviously that they refer to two cars that we don't know

Yeah, Easter Eggs in gaming lexicon tend to be small things that are hidden away, not something as obvious as two cars!

What about rallycross touring cars? They're the only modern RX class that isn't in the game.

Yeah I'd like to see them in there as well. Touring Cars are the smallest class in World Rallycross though and the Super 1600's, RX Lites and Supercars do form a good natural progression, so I can see why they have favoured those over the TC's.
