Official TV HUD for F1 2017

This looks nice on an image but it sucks when you are racing.. The lap counter and your position are way too small and hidden in way too much info. Race control messages hide the info on your steering wheel when in cockpit mode.  Codies HUD still beats this HUD by far.

Back to the drawing board again!  :p
1. The size of the lap counter and position boxes are the original sizes like in tv. So there is nothing with "too small" - it is like it is in broadcast style.
2. Race control message isn't shown for the whole race. It's just an information about 10 sec. In this short time you dont miss anything at the steering wheel while you are in cockpit view.

1. When will you finally understand that we will not be watching the races but will be drivers in them? It doesn't matter if is the original size from TV! The main things you will want to know is your position and how many laps to go. You are the driver, not a spectator! So it it way to small.

2. Because you don't know when Race control will send a message it it important that it doesn't block your view of the steering wheel.

I'm starting to think you never raced an F1 game and just watch your brother or friend racing. I'm glad Codemasters doesn't listen to ridiculous demands like the official TV HUD in the same size as it is seen on TV.
Funny how you are the only one going so mad about it. I guess you have realized that the TV HUD is actually quite good and can give you exactly the information that you need when racing, but now you can't back out of your original opinion because you would look like an idiot. Personally, I think the TV style is much better than Codemasters' boring outdated HUD, but those who won't appreciate official F1 features should still have the opportunity to use Codies' HUD
Funny how you think knowing what I think. Like I said multiple times before, the TV HUD is good for watching F1 on TV, not to race and time and time again these images prove it. Even if I point out the obvious flaws in these designs it's disregarded as "it's the same as on TV" #facepalm

I'm sorry but it's very clear why Codemasters is making the F1 games and not you guys. Codemasters knows what they are doing and listen to feedback and improve their games on that feedback. Some of you guys are claiming Codies don't listen to feedback well they do a better job at it as some people here
Well how would you know if the Official HUD is "not good for racing", have you tried it?
Why is it you think it wouldn't be suitable for the game? I would like to knows these "obvious flaws"
Because it's pure logic. Indeed, I've never played a racing game that had such small position and lap indicator. There is a very good reason for that, because game developers know what they are doing!
Looks like your so called "pure logic" is quite different to everyone else's.

Galileo's logic was also different from anyone else's back then.

I speak Dutch so don't use profanity in Dutch to avoid it being noticed by moderators! I already flagged your post for abuse.
Actually its belgium, introduced by jan Boskamp. anyway, dont talk bullshit on the HUD its not in the game, you cant say that because what you have seen in gameplay of 2 months ago. They can still implement it in the upcoming weeks

In Belgium we speak dutch and it is profanity! Profanity has no place on this forum! It's a disgusting phrase that when you say it to someone in Belgium they will punch you in the face. It's very low of you and that you said it in dutch means you know it's hurtful and could get you a ban if the moderators would read and understand it.

And you should not give people false hope that the official HUD will be in the game. What I say is indeed based on gameplay, yours is based on nothing!

I respect others opinions but you clearly don't. You start throwing profanity at me because I have another opinion.  Telling people to shut up is not respecting their opinions!

What the hell is wrong you? Didn't you learn any manners? Making me shut up won't make the official TV HUD magically appear in F1 2017

True! He's an example that you should question things, think for yourself and not just agree with what the majority agrees on. Come to think of it I'm sure he would vote against the TV HUD  :p
