F1 2016 crash

Recommended Posts

Hello,

I bought F1 2016 5 days ago on amazon. I installed the game three days ago and at the start I really liked the game.
My Problem now is that I can't play long. If I go in the career mode I can drive one or two rounds and then my game crashes. I don't get any reports from the game crash. The game doesn't react on anything and I get a blackscreen. Then I must restart the computer because I can't do anything. I already checked the Internet if there is an answer for my problem, but I haven't found anything.
I can play the Multiplayer mode without problems but unfortuately the career mode doesn't work.
Is there a solution to my problem?

Thanks for your answer.

Hey Lozzy,
I searched my complete directories for crash_dump files, but I couldn't find any for the F1 2016 game. Most probably there is no data written, when the game crashes.
As I wrote already, I cannot find any specific location or time, when the game crashes. But if it does, I have a black screen and my computer needs to restart completely.
This is not, what I expected from the game. Especially, since you are already at Update Ver 1.07!
What can you offer me??

I would have another suggestion. My Dad has Steam as well. Can I give him the licence, so he can check on his computer?
Would you maybe offer him a Key, to check the Game there?
His ID is "LICE"

I'm waiting for your reply. :)

Greets, Dominik

You can login to your Steam account on another PC and play your games. Obviously you'll have to download the game again though but there is a way to transfer the files using Steam if you want, you can find instructions on the internet I'm sure.

Have you made sure your drivers are up to date and tried some different graphics settings on your PC?

Oh okay.

Yes I made sure that my drivers are updated. I changed my graphics already too.
