I should have known this. One of my navigators shared a flat in the West End with John Sprinzel. He used to rally and race an MG Midget.

No worries @cjl9, I too was under the impression that Foot and Mouth was related to the creation of rallycross for a number of years until I was corrected!

Umm...great picture, small gripe. The car is an Alpine Renault. Renault only bought the company towards the end. Previously Alpine raced and rallied cars and was independent of Renault.

Bugs me that DR labels it a Renault Alpine.
