The Dirt 4 Official Countdown Thread

Enough Toyota's this time. I need something refreshing:

Attilio Betega, his last rally - unfortunately tragic one [*] - Tour de Corse 1985

Juha Kankkunen in action at the 1986 Rally Monte Carlo in his Peugeot 205 T16 group B car

Some French heroes:

Jean Ragnotti, 2nd at the Rally Portugal 1987. In a front wheel drive car!

And of course Bernard Darniche, winner of the Monte Carlo Rally 1979 in the Chardonnet Stratos.

I don't understand. It's Friday June 2nd and they're posting #3 cars. That implies DiRT 4 will be released on June 5th.

But Codies have always said it will be released on June 9th.

Right?

@cjl9 It  was meant to countdown to 6th. We will be using 000, 00, 0 on the way to 9th Jun.
It was already Saturday in my country when I posted #3 cars. ;)

US and Canada get retail discs on June 6. For everyone else, there's zero cars.

Well this is embarrassing. I was so busy yesterday that I forgot to post a fiesta. Here is a double feature of two fiestas with number 3

And here is the fiesta I meant to post yesterday

Getting these ones in a little early. First up, Björn Waldegård and Fred Gallagher, catching some air in the 1986 Safari. They would go on to win. Toyota Celica Twincam Turbo. Toyota had won the event the previous year with the same model and the same navigator, (Juha Kankunnen's maiden Safari win).

Rauno Altonen and Lofty Drews, 1985 Safari, Opel Manta 400,

a little cleaner in this shot ...

and finally, Ian Duncan on his way to victory in the 2009 Classic Safari, driving a 1967 Ford Mustang.
