Tilt to steer with Dualshock 4 for Dirt Rally VR on PS4

Hello,

I had recently bought the VR add-on for Dirt Rally, but I'm disappointed at the moment as I cannot find an option anywhere for steering via tilting the controller (you can do this in Driveclub) - as the DS4 supports this thanks to its in-built motion sensor. Is there an option somewhere that I have missed? Or is it not a feature? It would be greatly appreciated if it could be implemented in Dirt Rally if it currently isn't.

Its not a feature in the game
Thanks for the reply. That's awfully disappointing though. I just don't feel immersed in the game at all at the moment (as a result, I've only played the VR version twice - for five minutes each time), and I think that the lack of tilt to steer is the reason why. I hope that Codemasters will add it in soon, because it does wonders for immersion in Driveclub.

Agreed. I was looking for looking for a VR racing game after getting into Project Cars 2. Don't think I'd be ok with giving up tilt-to-steer though. going back to pad to pad input seems unappealing and i'm not going to invest in a full driving wheel setup...

As AndreyVrey says, it's just mapping a new input and hopefully wouldn't be too tough. It'd be a definite purchase for me if they could implement this.

I don't know why this isn't standard in driving games. When I bought by PS4 4 years ago the only driving game I had for it was Driveclub (actually, that might have been the only one available). I didn't have a wheel and can't drive anything with a stick, even GTA but got on fine with the motion control. Initially I didn't buy Project cars because they said they wouldn't implement this.
I now have a wheel and it's no comparison but tilt steering is a big step up in immersion and control over a stick.
Some sim snobs will tell you it's only for Mario Cart but surely it's more realistic than a stick?
