F1 2017 Game, Ideas (if not already added into the Game)

Recommended Posts

I just cannot wait for the new F1 2017 game announcement, pictures and potentially a teaser trailer, coming soon, these are simple features I think would be awesome for Codemasters to introduce in F1 2017 The Game:

1) Social Media in Career Mode
Social Media would be incredible to implement into this years F1 2017 Game with all sorts of interactions, and reactions throughout your own Career Mode, and potentially improve your own driving technique to get fans excited about a title battle, collisions, or simple retirements with the 2017 Calendar looking to spice up no matter where you are racing.

2) Car Launches into Career Mode
The ability to launch the brand new title challenger to excite more fans on Social Media about the upcoming 2017 season and to gain more popularity with the F1 Community

3) Testing before the season
Testing has always been important in the world of Formula 1, and why not bring the testing not only at Barcelona on a sunny day in real life to the F1 2017 Game with gaining your points for improvements AND not only that it would help the ameture f1 fans get better at the game as testing commences and not only that it can improve your own driving ready for the new season ahead.

If not will be in VR, I shall be disappointed no matter what modifications.

I don't get why vr is a game breaking thing. I really don't it costs £600, to give you dizziness, and make it so Codemasters spend time on things for the minority not tha majority and the whole fun aspect of the game. They can do VR when the make a perfect game with a majority of features that people want, make the game in depth, fix the handling on pad etc.. Online and career mode are a lot more important to me and a large majority of people, especially online which you probably won't understand and feel the pain of but we haven't had a good online system since 2013 which still wasn't perfect! Aswell as on xbox they can't even get it to run in 1080p, aswell it is not for this really and your not getting the most as the chief engineer at oculus said "You've got me on the content part. I'd say it's not necessarily gaming". "VR experiences for live sporting events and concerts are "probably the best type of content" for virtual reality."

So there you go that is my point. Codmeasters will make a massive mistake putting VR in as it doesn't actually add the then enjoy ability of the game and if anything reduces the play time, as people don't tend to like spending long periods of time wearing VR headsets. I understand why VR is a thing, but f1 is already a very expensive game, as in the more recent games wheels are kinda if anything a must, and you have to be the very best to race on pad and even then the very best are struggling, and moving away. To me and alto of other it just seems unnecessary when they haven't seemed to be able to get a game right since 2013.

Also b4 u say ur just jelous, I own a vr headset I have the vive, and I love it for games like dying light, resident evil 7 and so on, but these games were almost designed for it (ofc dying light wasn't they were just very lucky with the game basis).

No vr no buy for me simple , we have had virtually the same game for the last 5/6 years with nothing major different it will be awesome if they can do it for 2017and give us some different options . That's absoultly bs about vr being only about live sporting events and concerts as the best vr experiance you will ever have will be on racing games, so you really shouldnt judge untill u have tried it yourself,u say it's for the minority who want vr for f1 so why did  codemaster do it for dirt rally and they can't do it for f1 fans to get as close as they will ever get to some sort of immersion of being in a f1 car, they need to move forward with the times and introducing vr will be great for them to learn how they can improve it for future year. Don't mean to be rude but u shouldn't really say what they should and should not do because u don't want a certain thing to be implemented in a game wen other people would love to see a new feature that would be awesome.

I agree with you that any bugs to be corrected, but what does this have to do with VR? Driving with VR is incomparable with the ordinary and that is what should be, the real driving feel.

End of story.
It’s not something you get used to. Some people experience dizziness with VR, and always will. Some people don’t, and never will. That’s just the way it is, unfortunately.

Well I experienced dizziness when I had it on for long periods of time, but some friends of mine threw up after 5 mins, they just wanted to look cool by leaving it on but ended up in a worst situation.

But I do think that yes VR no doubt is more immersive for some, but it should really be something that comes after a good base game. Codemasters also only have  year to develop the game, which in terms of game development, is nothing so I personally I feel they do amazing to do what they do aside from the bugs which in some ways are in-acceptable since they have beta testers and some of them being soo large it's just. How did they not try this? Anyway about VR yes they will need to do it one day ofc if VR doesn't die off, but if they struggle to develop a good base game that is more important than VR

Yeah I get that, ofc ik they won't develop just for VR that's even more retarded. The point i'm making is they can hardly get the game right minus the time it would take to implement VR, how the fuck are they gonna do it with that extra time taken away?
