JJRosso
How come when I play with no traction control I spin off and crash when I floor the throttle while driving on the kerbs? Has to be fixed for 2014.
OGFedfan
I touch the outside curbs on nearly all turns and have never crashed because of it. If anything, there is too MUCH grip on the curbs (and grass).

NickDahy
The curbs aren't rutted like that in real life though, and its not a realistic spin. Most of them are realistic but some of them aren't I guess I will have to make a video and post it......
NickDahy
Here is a decent example looking on youtube. See how the tire gets stuck in the curb:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=anEk3AGUM_I

Its not that the kerbs are too grippy/don't have enough grip, its the fact the car gets stuck on some of them.
BobbyDeacs
If people really think this is realistic they need their heads examined:- https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2BCFBNz3fX0
HartGoesHARD
Look to the videos above to see evidence of my OP. Thanks, guys.
Seabast318
Everything's even clearer during the actual race on my monitor but if you look carefully at 1:32 in the video, I ran too wide and I took 2 of my wheels completely into the lower gradient kerbing. That's why I swayed a bit to get back on track due to my wheels being momentarily stuck. I believe that's how the track is in real life. Great job on this Codies, as I believe the kerbs are correct and spinouts are rare as a result as long as you drive the right way. There is no kerb issue in the game. Just an issue with the OP's bad driving.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TtKf03VlrGM

It looks like the movement is too sharp and quick to be driver input. Seems the kerb spit you off and back onto the track to me. That's happened to me multiple times. How would you know what the kerbs are like? Have you ever driven on a race track before in your life?
HartGoesHARD
Also, there are numerous videos on YouTube criticizing the kerbs on 2013. Go look for yourself. These people are also experiencing the same problems I have been.
HartGoesHARD
Even if I run 6/6 ride height at Bahrain and touch the exit kerb off the back straight it will flick my front end like a bothersome fly.
NickDahy
Exactly and almost all of the kerbs are okay, its just the rutted ones where your wheels get stuck. I was watching some onboards and they are a little rutted in real life, but the drivers can go right over them. Just a small fix at a few tracks and it will be all good.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0HjcAZC06Gc
sennagb13
when the kerb sucks you in you are using too much of it and its physics i drive professionally around Europe and yes it does happen
