PC to Tv?

Recommended Posts

okay so I already have an Xbox and in my country I can't find a racing wheel for Xbox 360. But I found some compatible with PC. So if I get a dirt rally pc game and connect it to the tv (Samsung 65 inch led) and use the racing wheel will the experience be more or less the same ? Thanks in advance.

Yes. I have played D:R on my pc while it's been connected to tv's, monitors and a projector, the only noticable difference was screen size.

I guess the only consideration that you will have to think about is the resolution of the tv and if your videocard can drive it?

I sometimes link my PC from one room to the living room via a long HDMI cable, its a 43" 4K LED TV and at that size, running it in 1080p is perfectly acceptable, 4K you don't see a different until up close especially for games. If anything, my TV is much better than my monitor which compared looks to be very flat colours! PC gaming on a large TV is great!

Same here, I got my pc hooked up to a Samsung 55" UHD TV, running DR cranked up with maximum detail in full 4K @ 60fps, there's nothing better

What's your refresh rate on these TVs?

I can't imagine driving on 30Hz...

Mine is marketed as 1200Hz, not quite sure if that is legit or not though but its silky smooth on 60fps games

I'm using a HDMI 2.0 cable which gives me 60Hz at 4K, older HDMI cables will only give 30Hz
