Don't forget that ofcourse football is a much bigger game, so more details will be released months before release as it is no where near as important to build a hype train cause they're still get staggering sales numbers. CM need a to build a massive hype train if they want big sales numbers aswell as, they especially don't want it to wear off. It's a marketing scheme they've always used and kinda works if we look at the amount of new players on f1 2016.

Yeah so am I unless they show me something meaningful regarding the career mode I could see myself skipping this year or at least waiting till it's really cheap as I don't think it'll hold my interest for long. I like the idea of the classics and tbh it's the only decent thing about 2013. But unfortunately this year it's going to take more than just a few classic cars to get my attention.

There's plenty for us to be talking about, and we will be ;). 

Jenny we realise it's good for marketing to wait until race weekends to promote your game but it would also be a good marketing strategy to show your paying customers some images of the cars that are so revolutionary this year and stop saying 'soon' with those annoying WINKY faces :/

Seriously you don't understand how annoying it is and no the suspense is not killing but rather annoying wondering when you'll throw out the next random bit of news.

yeah it is a little bit especially for us old timers that have seen and heard it all before and considering I have to pick carefully wher my money goes because I don't have much of it these days. I want make sure that if it does end up in CM's hands that it's for the right reasons for me. I want to believe her of course but I'm not jumping through any hoops till I know for certain the game has what I want and that's a game that's not going to get stale come the 3rd/4th season of career mode because we've run out of things to upgrade and htings like that after all it's pointless making it 10 seasons if it reverts back to how everything started in year 5 all the way to the end because you can't influence any further changes.

I literally had to zoom in on that picture, but I see that Haas sign on the rear wing - either older assets which were signed off, or they have just finished doing the new assets...

last year the addition of the pitboards was a great detail. i wonder when we can expect to read some info on other added features like possibly cranes, red flags, AI improvements, rain, rain puddles, spray, better telemetry ect. We still have zero info.

Just 2 months to go and so less information. Look at fifa, Forza, gran turismo, much more information is revealed already. It a fucking Joke we have to wait this long for less information being anounced yet. What are you doing the whole year? Cant understand that the main game is not ready at the moment, beside the small things that needs to be fixed. Very bad commercial tactics, show us some gameplay, of pictures of the 2017 cars.

I'm guessing we're not going to get any Info or gameplay of new game modes or career mode until all the classic cars have been revelealed which seems to be taking 2/3/4 weeks at a time... so we will be waiting a while yet.

TBH that's not such a bad thing as 2016 was a very good game. The only thing that let it down for me was the R&D system it needed more than what it had for it to matter over the 10 year career. It looks to me though that CM are at least trying to counter that this time with this RPG style skill tree system they've built. Hopefully it works well as I really enjoy RPG's. In fact was thinking with the new female avatar's I'm tempted to roleplay a young female driver trying to make her mark on a male dominated sport. Was going to call her Sara Ryder as well after Mass Effect Andromeda's hero as I thought that would make for a good female racing drivers name

Maybe not a bad thing the games usually full of bugs so by time you get it patch 1 maybe out.

I am sill early in my season on 2016 with mclaren and getting the new xbox in november so think I shall wait a little longer this year.
