Found a bug a massive one, start the game up and then it says press A to continue, I click A and then it shows the menu cinematics and dosent show the menus up at all!

I hope you guys find a solution for the Pro Tour trophy bug/glitch. All of my friends got the trophy at their first promotion to tier 6 but I got nothing. Tried to go down to tier 7 and get promoted a second time, still nothing... Hope you find a solution that the trophy pops with your next patch...

PLATFORM : PS4 - GAME - DIRT 4
I know that Thrustmaster 500rs is officialy  not  supported but it works ...
it works till the 5 min of gaming :) everything is great then game show me a info that i was changed a controler and the wheel i turned off, game is paused and whell going max to left and max to right the same way when you put wheel ON and then i press button continue and everyting is work but game cant see gas pedal, i need to OFF and ON again and it works for 10 minutes again, 
its very frustrating, someone can help me? 
Turn tyre friction and soft lock to zero and that will fix the issue

I can not reassign the E-brake to a different button, it simply does not work. I am trying to change it to another button on the wheel, but it doesn't save it. How do I fix this?
I had the same problem if you haven't figured it out yet, turn off your controller and navigate with your wheel to the options and so on.. this worked for me

540 works if it not I know it the program for the wheel and just need to reopen it after I have it open and when my pc sleeps it don't work along with CAM lol. PC life...

When competing in the RX world masters finals 3 times my spotter has told me my entry to the joker lap wasn't right so I would need to do a 2nd joker (joker indicator is green though).............when you do take the second joker though he tells you that you didn't need to do it.

- On terminal damage during a jam session, you'll get the time you've made until that terminal damage instead of 15 mins or something.
Basically I crashed on stage 1 and on stage 2 i had the same time from stage 1 until the crash and won the rally.
Apparently this is also happening when you get DNF if you dont finish the stage in time. You simply dont get the time penalty like in DiRT Rally.

- Sometimes the bodywork doesnt get visually repaired after repairing the car.

Not sure if was already mentioned, but many cars don't have option to change Rear Wheels Camber, and Brake Bias.

Hi. Almost every day in Race PRO TOUR in the midle of the session the connection lost. Is not a problem of my line is something of the game. And  if you abandon remaining 7 points. Very difficult to progress.

Career championship Rallycross Super1600 : For the first race in Montalegre the AI drivers get all mudded up after the semi finals race and into the finals race which looks rediculous since the short Montalegre circuit is a 100% tarmac race.  Please fix this as it ruins immersion.

Here the bugs I have found (in no particular order).

1. View goes back from dashboard to helmet cam when restarting stage.

When I put the difficulty settings at "allow exterior camera's - No" and I'm playing using the dash cam and I restart a stage the camera is switched to the helmet cam. I' not totally sure if the above settings are the main cause, but just to give you some extra information.

2. Game sometimes stretches single screen resolution over three screens
  2.1 Tachometer and stage position move to left and right screen.

When I ALT+TAB out of the game, double click on the window and next ALT+ENTER this has happened.

3. Land rush buggy dash/bonnet cam shows half of the mesh.

I'm not totally sure which of the views this happens but I think its the dash cam.

4. Windscreen wipers don't work correct sometimes
  4.1 Windscreen wipers are sometimes set to interval when there is heavy rain and set to auto on (this makes it almost impossible to drive).
  4.2 Speed (interval or full speed) setting does not survive restart when set to auto off.
  4.3 Can't control windscreen wipers after finish.

Since more people are posting improvements which are not necessary bugs, here is my list (in no particular order)

1. I think a lot of the default settings (on simulation mode) are not right (for me)?
  1.1 Add an option to load several setup styles: "Easy", "Rally driver" and so on.

In The DIRT Show | Live launch day chat, Paul Coleman mentions that most default setups are done in such a way that the cars should be easy to drive. I would not say this is the case. Perhaps with assists on or on Gamer mode this might be the case (have not tried that). But in my experience a lot of the cars are hard and frustrating to drive on default setups. After reading many threads on Dirt 4 physics I found out how I could alter the setups in such a way that the cars IMHO are easier and much more fun to drive. I went from, "I don't know about this game, there is something wrong"  to "This is game is great!". In terms of my stage times I went from hardly beating the AI at "demanding" to winning by +-15 seconds on "tough". I have mostly raced historic rally cars using my own setups, but I think the same might apply to the normal rally cars (still testing this). By just adjusting a couple settings one or two positions I could finally drive the cars the way I like. Shifting the weight by applying a little (left foot) braking and control the rear by throttle position, one corner to the next.

2. Co-driven calls for sharp turns after straight are too late.

Often you can see these sharp turn ahead. But sometimes, when there is a crest just before the turn, the call comes too late. Even if you apply the brakes immediately you are too late to make the turn.

3. Add a true freeplay mode.

I would like to just select a single track and race. Right now it affects your career.

4. Add possibility to change position of OSD elements.

5. Make difference between a gold and bronze medal more prominent. Maybe its just me, but I'm having trouble to see the difference on the event overview screen.

6. Add "Manual sequential OR H-shifter plus clutch" difficulty option. I would like to drive the cars the way they are meant to be.
  6.1 Add more difficulty bonus when driving with clutch.

IMHO driving with a clutch is a lot harder since, besides shifting with the clutch, left foot braking is a lot harder and when actually shifting impossible.

7. It would be really nice if you could shift without the clutch (even when set to H-shifter plus clutch) when you are at the right rpm.

Right now, you can change from gear to neutral without the clutch. But I think (at least I didn't manage it) you can't shift from neatral into a gear even if the rpm is right.

8. Show overall split times, before and or after race.

Right now you have to go to a different menu to see how much seconds you are leading or behind. To me this is a really important figure. When I'm leading an event I wont to know how much seconds I can loose while still maintaining my position in the standings.

9. The AI is too easy on "tough".

Depending on the car and track I can beat the tough AI way too easy. In some cases I was able to win by as much as 25 seconds. That seems to be too much, especially since I only played the game a couple days.

10. AI does not adapt to rain enough.

Especially when driving dash or helm cam, driving in the rain is a lot harder because of the reduced visibility. I think the stage times of the AI should go down a bit more under these conditions.

11. Too bad the hill climb events had too go, I really enjoyed those.

I guess this has to do with licensing, but you could probably add a course with the same characteristics as Pikes Peak.

12. Damage should occur quicker and be harder to repair. Right now I never had to stop on a stage or not be able to repair my car in between.
  12.1 Like more things, making this an optional setting is fine of course.

When you crash your car into a tree for example the you should not be able to continue the stage. Right now damage is pretty much only a visual thing.

13. The snowbanks in Sweden are too forgiving.

In RL this is not (always) the case for sure.

14. Start the countdown after you have pulled the handbrake.

15. Always show difference between current settings and default
  15.1 Perhaps even a way to compare current to saved

I often forget how much I have changed a car. By seeing the default I know how I can move some settings back to default but not all.

UPDATE: 20 june 2017

At present I have played the game about 40 hours. Some more things I noted:

BUGS

The dashboard view is incorrect on more vehicles (see bug 3). On the Renault 5 turbo I can see the top of the windscreen for example. This might have something to do with the fact that I'm playing on three monitors and have increase the fov a couple steps wider.

Resetting  the "Tune car" settings to default/recommended does not always work correct. A couple times I noticed that when I had reset the tuning settings and went for a little drive the settings had not been applied. When I went back to the Tune car menu I noticed that nothing had changed.

IMPROVEMENTS

The number of tiles for the "Your stage" track generator is way too low. After playing for a while you pretty much know every corner combination. I think there should be a much bigger pool for tiles which the generator could use including some rare ones to give the tracks a bit more character/soul.

I'm not totally sure about the default force feedback settings as others have mentioned. Lowering (or turning of) wheel friction, tire slip and steering center force do improve it IMHO. The problem is probably that too much information is coming through the wheel with the default settings, which makes it hard to feel the more important stuff.

I don't know if this is possible but I would like leave my wheel driver settings at the max (in my case 900 degree) and then to have the option in game to set it to a certain degree of rotation (perhaps in logical steps). Furthermore it would be nice to have an option to have a setting to let the degree of rotation adapt to the car your driven. Some cars might have 720 degree of rotation while other might have only 540 for example.

More livery options. I bought a couple cars which are just grey/white or another solid color. I have not really been able to design a nice looking car in the "Staff and branding" section. Perhaps its just me but I think there should be more options too choose from. Furthermore I would like to have different designs for different cars. What looks somewhat good on one car does not on another. At the very least it should be possible to save liveries so you can load/apply a good looking livery before starting to use a car. But I think every car you buy should have at least one good looking livery by default.

I think I've found an audio bug. Playing on PC, sometimes when braking, I hear audio that sounds like chains being jangled. Sometimes it stops when I take my foot off the brake, other times it keeps going for a few seconds, occasionally for the rest of the stage.

I'm reasonably sure it's not related to brake damage, as I don't have any brake damage to repair in the service area at the end of the stage.

I'm playing on PC - Windows 10, Core i7, GeForce GTX 1070.

Several crashes to home screen after checking leaderboards at the end of events.

Setting the notes to Earlier, doesn't cut it. The ones after fast sections start getting called ok'ish ( but still a bit late ), and all the others too earlier to my taste ( 5-6 notes get called, and i'm still on the first one ).

I agree completely and I'm on Xbox, it's probably universal.  They're probably set for a cetain amount of time before the turn and should be calculated by distance from the turn.

I can't even start the game, like many others. This is such a big disappointment, being a long time Codemasters Rally fan ever since Colin McRae 2.0. I can't believe there hasn't been more attention to this given how many people are affected. Most people won't even come on here and make a post, they just refunded the game. Pretty sad CM...

The sliders aren't Clear and not help the user without any text information what they mean...
Example To total left the complexity slider means less complicated and to full right most complicated or not in Your Stage?

There is no Bloom effect in cockpits,
Every light source of illumination looks 'cartoonish' without bloom effects around them.

Example Subaru, look at the RPM LEDs look cartoonish simgle coloured circles only

(also tripmaster has got no illumination at all)

When driving any of the cars the cars change gears before the driver pulls the gear stick. This happens when gearing up and gearing down. The telemetry shows the gear number either increasing or decreasing before the driver is actually changing gears. Please fix!!
