Dirt4(ps4) Can't PLAY! T500RS disconnects, same spot, EVERY time:( HELP

i actually talked to thrustmaster prior to buying t500rs. they said it would continue to support all games on the ps4 plattform, but they could not promise what happend in the future when a new plattform came out. 

not sure who is responsible for setting up drivers proper for a game, developers of the game or tech/support for wheel.

T500 disconnecting issue temp fix is below.

Now lets hope codemasters reads this fix and does a patch for it soon, as I think the game feels alot better with the SOFT LOCK AND TYPE FRICTION on.

I have all the other FFB settings at 150, 
with both SOFT LOCK AND TYPE FRICTION at 0
 = T500 working. Happy days.

madwak fix is working fine into Rally mode. But it's impossible to drive in rally cross mode. MY wheel is too sensible. Am I the only one?

There appears to be some sort of bug that makes the T500 disconnect when certain ffb forces are applied, I've found that turning everything down to zero apart from the top 2 settings stops it from disconnecting and been playing on it now for many hours :smile:

That did work - but actually I've found that just the two settings is actually enough for now.

I'll await a proper fix so I can get 100% FFB detail from the game, but meantime, I can at least get through a stage now...  >:)

Hi, I'm from Spain and I've got the same problem, I've been searching about that and in theory you can use the wheel t500rs with Dirt 4 but it doesn't work. Uf someone find the solution for that please tell it.

It's up a few posts - if you turn off soft lock and tyre friction to zero, you'll at least be able to play.

I'm sure a fix will appear in the near future...

Com on Codies, how the hell you thought not supporting the T500RS for Dirt4? I have it with aPS4pro. I preordered Dirt4, cuz I am a die hard fan of dirt. this sucks. please Fix it soon With priotity. 
I am frustrated, waiting so long for the game and now i should play it with the controller... no way, i go back to Dirt and play that. Dirt4 is dead for me so long til its fixed. 
And tell the guys from F1 that they make it right to the release of F1 2017. 
There is no reason not to support the T500RS, gran turismo sport works perfect, project cars, assetto corsa also.

No longer going to buy any of your games, last 4 I bought have all been botched up as new or in an update. Do you do any QA testing at all???? I might change my mind if you can fix this soon, the fact that you have deliberately lied and appear to be removing any evidence has removed any hope you might actually be an honest business.

Since the update, now it's randomly pausing or changing view/turning on wipers. It's back to being unplayable again. Anybody else?

@ Codemaster: when will the promised ps4 update released for t500RS? 
And yes, why you guys dont have a QA Testing for popular equipment ? If u have tested it 2 minutes you would have realized it.
so please just take the program code of Dirt to support the steering wheel in Dirt 4.

T500RSに対応してないなんてPS4プラットフォームのゲームとしてありえない。
いつになったら解決されるのでしょうか？
日本での発売日にはT500RS問題は確認されているのにはアナウンスもされておらず、バグフィックスもすでに後手に回ってると言わざるを得ない状況で、とても信じられないサポート体制です。
日本のDiRT4ファンも悲しんでいます。
PS4プラットフォームならではの日本スタイルの神サポートを望みます。
日本では謝罪、返金対応レベルの深刻な問題ですよ。

This is correct! I just verified this. Bought the came today and there it was, this bug, but fortunately found this thread.
To be able to use your T500RS just turn tyre friction to zero as @madwak said, nothing else, and you are good to go!
And hey Codemaster (maybe you should reconsider your brand name?) when you now know this, I suppose it's trivial to make a patch to correct this?
