Recommended Posts

hey guys. I have been playing Dirt 4 but I have noticed a problem...

my setup:

i7-6950X
ZOTAC 1080 x2 in SLI
32gig RAM

but when I play only one GPU seems to be working at about 60-70% and the othwe onw is always on 20%

is SLI supported?

I have the latest geforce Experience drivers

Similar troubles, I've got two 980 Tis; SLI off I can get a nice solid framerate around 50 fps, but with SLI on it maxes out around 20 fps.

The Nvidia Profile Inspector is what you need, but,...if you use all his settings it will affect the picture quality. The only two you need to change are the third and fourth settings under the SLi section adjust for two video cards. "GPU COUNT TWO"

I got SLI working with only changing two lines in the profile...  dirt 3 sli dx10 bits and dx10 sli count two... but had flickering shadows.  So I will try the method in this video above and see if it fixes.

Only use the two in the SLi section which I point out above WITHOUT AFR and directx 10 otherwise it will affect picture quality.

Check using a utility like Afterburner to make sure both cards are running at full speed. Then recycle the graphics settings to see if it fixes the flickering graphics.
