This would be good to have, although I do skip the starting grid a lot. Another thing is that Codies use the driver avatars instead of the actual driver pic. 

Still should be in game considering it's an official title. FIFA has the official broadcasting for the Prem, La Liga and the Bundesliga so why shouldn't it be in an official F1 game?

Initially voted yes ages back.
But to be honest I kind of wish it was the other way round and that Liberty Media would use Codies hud in the real F1 ;)
So many bugs in the official one with wrong information, drivers numbers that are barely visible to see against the background, and don’t even get me started on those RIDICULOUS CGI advertisements that they encorporate into the track (Heineken star with the cars driving through and disco flashing rotating F1 logo). It looks like cack, honestly :/

No, they don't have to. You REALLY think, that they would be implementing the official broadcast style into game's HUD this far into development of the game? I highly doubt it. I still don't want official styled HUD, as the HUD, that the game has works for what it's made, no need to have it replaced with other style.

Of course the official broadcast style implemented as HUD would be cool and all, but it really doesn't bring any immersion. Not for me, anyways.

It looks really good. Especially the real driver photos. But what should they do if you are second or third in the above example? Should they still leave it blank or use the game graphics? That would look ugly.

I think that's where they would use all captured models of the drivers rather than the real life pics so your avatar would not look out of place as they did in 2017.

After watching the Verstappen lap in Silverstone I really start to get annoyed by the same looking HUD from Codies. It would be so easy to just implement the important visuals from the original one into cockpit and TV view. They could easlily give us an proper replay feature with the whole TV Style, that would be so amazing. For those who don't like the TV style they could make it optional to switch between those two - problem solved. But hey, 8 years in and this seems like something which is impossible to do but meanwhile hobby developers creating mods with the official style in just a few weeks after the game drops for pc.

In yesterdays trailer (3.45 min), Lee Mather mentioned that the TV broadcast style is very important for them. In F1 2018 they implement official F1 TV style introduction. Gameplay we have seen so far is “ work in progress”. Therefore there is still hope for official TV layout into the game.

I understand the opinion of those who voted against it, but its more the way how codemasters explains it to their customers. Its difficult to understand why there is official intro but no TV style graphics. Just implement it as an optional feature, it really will not be that hard to include it, even as an update post release.

It's stupid to have 2 different HUD styles, just to cater those, who are more vocal about wanting the official TV broadcast graphics as HUD. Even though it might not take that much work to implement it. But it's still not needed.

I wouldn't quoted this if your reply would have ended with "IMO". But the last part is totally wrong. If you argue like this then all the R&D Skill Tree, driving classic cars in career mode, choosing when you have to go to pit, editing your setup, TV-Cam etc shouldn't be in the Game because we are the driver and the driver doesn't do all this by his own. Which is basically your point.

Thats why I said, they could EASILLY give us the Option to switch between Codies HUD and the Official one, I dont see where the problem is here actually. Everybody would be happy.

Dude, I don't use T-Cam. Not anymore. The T-cam is there for "casuals". And no, it's not "all wrong" drivers do have some, note, SOME imput on what way the development are going. As for "choosing when to pit" newsflash: The drivers do take part in meetings, where they make the race strategies. So, that's wrong on your part, not on my part. Drivers does also give their imput on what way the setups should go (even though, they don't really make the setups, that I give to you). 
Rest of your jargon is quite on point. Though, that again, is YOUR opinion. Not mine. It still would be stupid to implement 2 different HUD designs, when the HUD design we have WORKS, like it's supposed to, thus making implementing official TV proadcast style into HUD is redundant and, again, stupid.

I'd like to see something styled like in tv, but i doubt they will implement it. The most important thing for me, is more information whats going on in the race. If i'm first and the guy behind me goes to the pits, i have no clue if he's gaining or not.
