F1 compatibility for laptop

Recommended Posts

Hello everyone,
i'd like to have your opinion on the compatibilty of my laptop to play F1 2010 to F1 2015.
I have a
-Intel Core i5-2450M 2.5 GHz
-NVidia GE Force 610M Video Card with Intel(R) HD Graphics 3000
-6GB RAM

It is not the best laptop and I want the game to be fluid... Up to which one of the F1 game series can I run the game ?

Thanks

Depends on laptop resolution. I'm going to presume 1366x768 and then to 2014 for sure. 2015+16 i'm sure u'll be able to run it but on lowest probably.

Running 2016 on 630M myself... 1280x720 resolution. Ultra Low settings. Basically, in race I get about 20-30 FPS. With "displaying" humans, it gets maybe even to 10 FPS. The max you can probably run is 2015 on really low settings... If not, 2014 is a stop for you. If you'd like to run newer F1 games, you'd need at least 900M series Nvidia, to run properly.

So with F1 2015 it might be ok, but 2014 is a more safe choice... I dont want to buy 2015 and say "it bugs" or whatever... BTW Yes I am 1366x768

Is Can You Run It reliable ? Because it says i can run 2014 but i cant run 2015... (both minimum requirements)

Personally I never trust Can You Run It - it always goes with Minimum specifications, and especially for laptops these don't go well. I usually just Google around, search for people with same graphics and if they tried to run the game... Or basically just ask someone, like here.
..sure, I have i5-3210M as a CPU, but the game is more GPU intensive, so to say - you can still try F1 2015 (might need very low settings), but F1 2014 and any prior games are a safe bet. (And also, they still get quite a lot of mods...)

I would go for F1 2013 as being on of the best of that era. 2014 was crap and at least can you benefit from some of the classic cars in 2013.

I also have doubts about "CYRI"...
Is there anyone with similar pc specs (Intel Core i5-2450M 2.5 GHz, NVidia GE Force 610M Video Card with Intel(R) HD Graphics 3000, 6GB RAM) who played F1 '13 or '15 ? How is the game ?
