F1 2018 HUD Poll

As there is a poll about the HUD that just let's you vote only yes or no on the HUD for F1 2017 and the game is already made, here is the poll for F1 2018. This should give participants more choices. This should give Codemasters a better understanding of what the community really wants.

I can't give any examples of what a revamped HUD from codemasters should look like. It's up to codemasters to come up with that. It would look totally different from the one Codemasters uses today but would not look like the official TV HUD.  Until now Codemasters has been improving on the same HUD year over year, that's not a revamp it's an evolution and would be considered as a Classic codemasters style.

It says F1 2017 not F1 2018 and only has yes or no choice. So a better poll was needed as people who don't care for the HUD were excluded in that poll.

Clearly this a totally different poll. It's not geared at one solution but multiple.

Yup the other poll might indeed be confusing because it only talks about F1 2017 and from what I suppose you mean with "you don't read comments" people need to read all the comments before they know what that poll is about?!  It's also confusing for people who have another opinion than just yes or no.

Why have we got to have another one of these? It seriously just gets boring. This one if the best out of all of them it gives u the most option + might actly be possible. So now this should be the main one and either close the others or everyone just leaves them alone forever pls

In addition, they should do what they did in 2013 with the classic cars, and change it depending on the era of car your driving.

Official HUD is a must in a "Officially Licenced" Game, isn't it?!

Developers 20 years ago, who had less experience and terrible hardware to work with were able to get everything spot on, so the argument of limited licencing and possibilities to actually get the F1 series a huge overhaul is absolutely ridiculous just as the argument that Codies are not allowed to go that route.

Literally a amateur hobby modder could code the official HUD and or camera angles into the game in 1 - 3 hours, yet Codies are unable to do it themselves???

Codies repeatedly stated in the past that they could make this change, but that they simply "prefer" their own design over the "official" one..... what kind of  a BS excuse is that?!

Also if this was F1 2011 we could have the benefit of the doubt, but since F1 2012 released that benefit became totally redundant and has been reeplaced with general suspicion.

How come they've put so much love into their DIRT / GRID games with all the little details, but refuse to put the same amount of work into their F1 series?

Go figure yourselves mates.......

I think its time for EA sports to take business over. They have highly qualified personell, more financial possibilities. In light of EA sports, codies are amateurs!!!

It is so easy to qualify Codemasters as a bunch of amateurs, comparing them to a million dollar company like EA. Compare Wehrlein to Lewis, does that make Wehrlein an amateur? Put Wehrlein in the Mercedes and Lewis in the Sauber and see what happens. In other words, give CM unlimited assets and see what happens. So stop comparing apples to pears. Set of to the assets available to Codemasters they probably do a great job. Try to look at it from that perspective.

No I dont stop complaining ! Its really clear what their customers want, but they dont care us... We are just stupid customers buying their games anyway so why would the take effort to implement features we really would like to have. Release date is just two months away and still no main features or gameplay. Its very clear now classic cars is their main goal for this years game. 


 
The HUD is very cartoonish, like the safety car picture, awfull really!!!
