Rallycross Points System

First off, I'm loving Dirt 4. But there is one thing that I'd like to see in the next update or explained as to why it can't be done. When I went to play the rallycross for the first time I was very confused as to why the points system is different from the actual WRX. The points should be like so:

4 Heat races (top 12 advance)
1st: 16
2nd: 15
3rd: 14
4th: 13
5th: 12
6th: 11
7th: 10
8th: 9
9th: 8
10th: 7
11th: 6
12th: 5
13th: 4
14th: 3
15th: 2
16th: 1

2 Semi-final races (top 3 advance)
1st: 6
2nd: 5
3rd: 4
4th: 3
5th: 2
6th: 1

Final race
1st: 8
2nd: 5
3rd: 4
4th: 3
5th: 2
6th: 1

And then all of those points are added together for that round.

I'm only brining this up because it says that the rallycross is officially licenced in this game, and I thought that meant that all of it would be accurate to the real championship. Including all of the locations, drivers and tracks for the championship. I also would like to thank you guys for this game, I'm having a great time playing it.

You meant the WRX. That is true. Doing 4 qualifiers is a bit pointless when the scoring for them doesn't count for anything other than the grid for the semi-final, which is not that decisive.

Well, starting either first or last helps not being smashed at the first corner. :D Especially at Holjes.
Sometimes you can get what I call a "double-smash" or "corrective-smash". That's when one AI spins you out, and immediately after another one spins you back on course. :D

And to clarify, the thing that should/would change is the finally tally of points. It would be for example: 16+6+8=30 and so on.
