DarkRedslayer 43 Posted April 19, 2014 (This assuming it will be on PS4).Supporting all or most wheels that worked on Ps3, specifically, in my case, the Fanatec CSR. (Non elite). I didn't like Dirt 3 very much at first, but when I used my CSR with it for the first time, I fell in love with the game and played the crap out of it for awhile. Will probably pull it out and play it again soon actually. With an extreme lack of actual PS4 wheels at this time (no idea when some good ones will be on the way), I really hope the CSR will work. justbiglee 0 Posted April 19, 2014 The good thing about the PS4 is it is much more friendly with "last gen" wheels though it requires us to effectively include the drivers with the game where as with "next gen" wheel the PS4 uses an single API that all the new wheels will tap into.I think I have that the right way around, what it basically means is that Fanatec need to issue a driver for it (I think - that or we need to make one which would seem a little odd to me). I can't really give you much in the way of an answer at the moment because we're not that far down the rabbit hole yet but suffice to say we wan't to support as many as we can.Hope that helps :)
Rallycameraman 241 Posted April 19, 2014 Logitech are doing a driver for the G27, so i'm really hoping they do one for the G25 too!

On the PS3, the CSR emulated the G27, so I would assume that if the G27 were to work, so would the CSR. (Unless of course, the G27 would require a firmware update to work on PS4, and which point it would be up to Fanatec, and I and most other CSR users will be screwed -.- ) Fanatec is a pain in my ass o.o But I do love my wheel. So hopefully one way or the other, you guys get it working. Or, another acceptable result would be Fanatec stop being noobs and just release a wheel for the PS4, in time for Dirt 4, and give you guys what ever drivers you need before hand. Sadly, based on everything I've seen so far, Fanatec has no interest in making their own drivers for the CSR on PS4 (Because they like to be annoying like that). I don't mind getting a new wheel to work with PS4 (I've had my CSR for over 2 years now), I just want it to work with my existing pedals and shifters. But like you guys, you're all being annoying and not announcing stuff. I know you're making Dirt 4, and I know Fanatec is making a PS4 wheel, I just don't know when lol.Either way, hope you guys get all the wheel support in place, and I pray my CSR works. Because my CSR made me love dirt 3 20x as much.
MastaVonBlasta 2 Posted April 21, 2014 I'm also hoping I will be able to use my G27 wheel with PS4. Does anyone know whether it has been confirmed that Logitech wheels will work with PS4?

Didn't realise Logitech stopped making gaming peripherals. Why? If it was PC maybe some clever dude would write a driver for the wheel for PC, but with Sony and Logitech involved it may never happen.I don't fancy spending £££££s on a Fanatec. I wish I could though...
Rallycameraman 241 Posted April 21, 2014 G27 will be available to PS4 peeps, but it still depends on the game publisher/designer whether they build support for it into their games.http://www.virtualr.net/logitech-working-on-playstation-4-drivers
Syn 2 Posted April 21, 2014 As a DFGT owner, I'm hoping developers still support this wheel for PS4 games.
