help required...I have a Thrustmaster t300 Ferrari GT wheel and Pedal set on PS4 had problems from day one, initially F1 2017 not recognising the connection, after a few reboots hardware showed up and worked, turn off ps4 and later turned on, would not recognise connection again, went through disconnecting, reconnecting and reboooting and finally worked again...same problem today on restart...am i the only one with this issue in F1 2017
Here is how you calibrate the wheel for PS4 -

1) Start up your PS4 and wait until the PS4 system menu/Dashboard appears.
2) Connect the racing wheel's USB cable, then wait for the auto-calibration phase to end.
3) Turn the racing wheel fully to the left (until you reach the stop).
4) Turn the racing wheel fully to the right (until you reach the stop).
5) Turn your racing wheel until you reach the 12 o'clock position.
6) While holding it in this position, press the 'OPTIONS, 'SHARE' & 'MODE' buttons simultaneously.
* PS & GT WHEEL = « SE + ST + MODE »
* F1 WHEEL = « BO + WET + MODE »
* 458 CHALLENGE GTE WHEEL = « SCROLL + RIGHT LEVER + MODE »
The racing wheel's LED briefly changes colour, then reverts to its initial colour (RED=PS4). This means that
the wheel's center value has been reset and automatically saved to the device's internal memory. You do not need to repeat the procedure every time you connect the racing wheel.

This applies to all of the T300's wheels (PS, GT, F1,458 GTE, etc.).

I also recommend updating your firmware, or checking that you have the latest firmware version. Turn the mode switch to PS3 when connecting to PC and the LED is GREEN. When complete, disconnect and turn the mode switch to PS4 before connecting to the PS4.

just read this thread and you have just made my day :smile: i had a t300 with f1 wheel but it broke so i bought a new t300 base this week and when i plugged it in and it calibrates it is ever so slightly off centre and is very annoying when driving on the straights and also meant when turning left needed less input than turning right!! can wait to get home from work and try this out!! thanks soooooooo much.

****update****....... tried this and works a charm. Thanks again

Guys,

Has anyone successfully got F1 working with an OSW wheel, Fanatec V3 pedals and a USB rim on PC?  Do you mind sharing how you did this?

Thanks!!

The T150 is a standard version.
The T150 Ferrari is a Ferrari addition. ( that's it )
The pro comes with better pedals.
Thanks for that. I'm a little strapped for cash right now so I've bought the Ferrari edition as for some reason it appears to be cheaper everywhere!

Logitech G29 - Every time , before to start F1 2017 I need to recalibrate my wheel in Windows 10  because it loses calibration. I use last version of Logitech Gaming Software.

Perhaps Codemasters would be kind enough to suggest which version of the LGS they use and which G series wheel.

I used to have the G27 but found the lack of buttons frustrating, so swapped for the G920 as F1 2016 defaulted to XBox button symbols when the keys were not shown on the shortcuts.

I agree no Logitech Momo Racing wheel. I have set mine up but suddenly I get no ESC ket in any event, Cant switch camera views etc. What a pain in the ass.

**update**  after updating my version to 1.9 suddenly 80% of my buttons are now working (after editting my controller profile) My momo logitech forced feedback wheel is working quite well.
Key 4= DRS
Key 5= talk to Jeff
Key 7= cluch
Key 8= look behind

I would take any other suggestions for the momo wheel..

Anyone got the CSL Elite Wheelbase working LED-wise?

If yes: How? Which settings/programs?

The CSW works but the CSL does not =/

Is the gyro and accelerometer enabled when using the Dualshock 4 with F1 2017 ?
Nope,  if you mean Motion Contol( tilt to steer). We’ve been asking for this to be enabled since F1 2015 came out. All that CM can say “sorry not this year”.

Can't use my current steering wheel, so I've got to pay out for a compatible one. "NOW I'M PISSED"

@jennyannem, and @Lozzy, please a better attention to the players of PC Windows 10 with X-box One Controller because the triggers are inaccurate for me that play in Elite (no assists), so I prefer the second preset of commands (throttle and break in analog button that's much more precise)... Some user said that X-box 360 have more precision in triggers, and why no to X-box One platform through of Windows PC? The controller are more advanceds, should be more accurated in all senses...

Update: In F1 2015, the controller works very well on triggers with first preset, probably because the game have a style more Arcade that F1 2016 and 2017. F1 2015 have little simulation of traction and breaks (Elite, no assists). But you need to improve the precision on Triggers for F1 2017, that requires more accuracy in acceleration and breaks, because as I say, the F1 2017 is very simulated, and you can lose traction very easily if you do not have precision in the commands.

There's a whole list regarding supported wheels. Might be a bit of a bummer, but you should have checked before buying o:)

Can we please have Keyboard/Buttonbox support for Xbox One now that it can be implemented? Using it with Project Cars 2 and it is such a great feature to have. F1 2017 would be  perfect with that supported feature.

Hey there, Currently I'm using vjoy, it works like a charm except that it is really hard to configure in the menu. It took me like 50 tries to finally be able to set an input to the x+ axis. Setting an input to the Y-axis seems to be impossible, any tips?

This is news to me. Since when are buttonboxes supported by XB1? Or do the devs have to implement it in game? Any news/articles/links regarding this would be highly appreciated.

USB Keyboard support was added end of 16 or start of 17. In pCars can be used for extra camera and seating adjustments on track. For Gears 4 you can use it for team chat.

I do think it depends what is implemented by the developers, at some point Mouse and KB support for games controls should also be coming.

A keyboard is something different than a buttonbox of do buttonboxes simulate a keyboard. Still suffer from not having the possibility to assign buttons on XB1

You have any example of a buttonbox that would work on XB1 in combination with F1 or another race game (except PC 2 which I will not buy until it's stable)

No. pCars is the only game I know of that has built in keyboard support and then from that people have built their own / started selling pre made units.

"IMPORTANT! : This Button Box will ONLY work with pCars2 (Project Cars 2) and any other game that allows the use of a HID USB wired keyboard (normal PC USB keyboard) as a second controller."

Anyone have issues on XB1 using a TX Servo with the Ferrari F1 rim on 2017? I read someone had issues but didn’t say what system. I would assume he meant Xbox.
