F1 2017:So is it even possible to change AI diff in the middel of a season in career mode?

I tried the settings menu in the laptop menu and during the practice session but every option including the on I'm interested in AI difficulty is just grey and I can't chooses anything

Have you tried getting into the settings menu during the loading screens? Once you've started a session you can't change the difficulty as far as I know.

Yes, you need to go into Options / Preferences in between races to edit the Difficulty slider.

Cant change when in  game racing  but can before go in to next week end as loading up.

its only possible to change then between weekends on pc? whenever i go in even when loading up career its greyed out
