Online races broken (PS4)

I was on the online matchmaking on ps4 and started spectating a race when everyone crossed the line it said they got disqualified I've seen elsewhere that's it's been happening on other platforms.

Every race it's happening to me! I can't win or lose a race. Also very bad for our stats.

Firstly let me say the game feels awesome and offline is great. However, online is a mess.....everyone DSQ constantly then racing people that aren't even in the lobby and nothing seems to match up. Online has been a shambles since they switched to new system they have used for last 2/3 years.
