When loading between weekends press the options button it wont be greyed out then. You cant change sessions length if you have started the practice sessions

I lost 3rd gear in Bahrain and I've been doing 50% races in my Force India career. I was using auto gears as well.

I've just accepted that I'm going to need more parts than the allocation, as most of the teams in reality will this season.

Yh i found that the level of wear when you gearbox starts to have issues is too low. Most people will be at 50% wear on gearbox by bahrain and starting to lose gears at 50% is too low. I think it should be gearboxes start to lose gears at 70%

Just completed spain. Manual gears. Encountered my 1st gearbox issue when i lost 2nd gear. Only complaint i can make is jeff never told me which gear i had lost (nearly sent me into a full spin... thanks jeff) and then i never recieved message to say i had got the gear back.

What i love is you need to be conscious bout what fuel mix you use at various times. Example with practice programs use lean and normal until you really need rich mix. In qually only use max when you really need it. You will stress the entire car less doing this. I find this aspect of the game fantastic.

I wouldn't asy it's bugged as I'm on my 4th race with my first gearbox in fact the gear box is probably the part that's held together best on my car. For me the parts that are wearing out fastest aer the engine itself and the MGU-H as I'm already on my 3rd ones already in Russia. I'm just kind of hoping I can make the 4 last long enough to get me past Monaco then I won't mind so much because I find both Canada and Baku easy to overtake on generally for me so won't mind dropping back for a penalty or 2 there.

Looking at the durability part of the R&D tree, by season 2/3 the engine/gear box issues will be much less. The 500 points for 22.5% less gear box wear is quite high on my list of priorities right now!

Now my question: is this in multiplayer also given if you are playing a full online Season?? I might to remember a Video where engine and Gearbox wear was also visible but I am not sure if it can broken in online Season too if you drive too much in max or rich.

Correct, never use Rich in practice (apart from Qualifying sim). Only you MAX on fast laps in Qual. Use lean for in and out laps throughout practice and Qualifying. I also use lean in Practice if I'm setting up the car. In the race I under fuel the car and rely on running lean at some point or a safety car. Seems to help..

Love the tactical decisions you need to make. I'm running in a Sauber which means i'm qualifying 17th-20th every race. Due to having a few 20th places in Qualifying i've added 5th, 6th and 7th Engines and 5th and 6th gearboxes. The huge penalties haven't effected me as I was last anyway.
