F1 2017 - Cockpit Camera

Recommended Posts

The position of the drivers view are very random.
The Mercedes Car has very high vision. (You can see up to the middle of the tire, and the suspension of the wheel ... while in reality, the driver only sees the tip of the tire, where is the color range.)
A closer view of reality is the car of Hass.

UPDATE: Look to Apex now is fine to me, because I increase the linearity of direction, so the car don't move too fast (And the vision consequently does not zig zag). Thanks!

That's what the camera settings are for.
Personally, I'm more concerned with seeing as much of my mirrors as possible, than how much of the tyre I can see.

But I play with many different cars, and if I edit a camera, edit everyone's camera. I used tire and wheel, just for reference.

Yes, maybe see the mirrors within 1920x1080 did not let the game as real as possible. In 21: 9 ratio I can see well. Then they would have to give up the most ideal view, just to show the mirrors on the side. Make everything fit within the same image.

How does "Look to Apex" work?

Thanks
  • Body is 5 characters too short.
It works in the same sense as you turn your head to look at the corner. The higher the number, the more the driver moves his head towards the corner when you're turning. IMO having the number too high is a put off. I leave it standard.

I prefer having the cockpit view pushed forward.

Here is a video of my first race in my career. My cockpit settings are at the start of the video when I go into practice.
