F1 2017 PS4 Strange Inputs or Delay? DS4 Pad

I'm starting a new career as i got the game today and i'm having strange problems trying to steer (with the DS4 pad). I steer left for example and in-game will have a bit of a delay and then it steers...its not always happening but its really annoying.
Any solution?

What are your pad settings?
Could be a deadzone issue or something.

Does it predominantly occur in low speed corners? F1 2016 sometimes would not give enough steering lock, perhaps this 'feature' made it into 2017?  Only cure is to identify which corners and be overly careful on entry speed in these.

I have this problem too. Steering left (with controller) seems to be bugged. I have never encountered something like this in any other racing game. Absolutely ridiculous.
