But the updated livery?

Recommended Posts

Probably F1 2018. I hope not but they've never released any kind of mid season roster change so I don't see them updating the schemes
Edit-or if this is to believed, November http://forums.codemasters.com/discussion/56619/when-will-the-patch-for-the-spanish-gp-cars-come-out#latest

There was a patch for F1 2016 and F1 2015 post release to update car models and liveries. Also that 'November' claim is 100% opinion based so it could be sooner or could be later. You can speculate, but Codemasters themselves haven't given a time frame other than post release. People jumped on a similar bandwagon with 'Day 1' but Codemasters never said that the livery or models update would come with the day 1 patch.

yeah there was and we likely will get one for 2017 But it won't happen until the teams and everything gets signed off by the powers that be  so I wouldn't expect it yet. More than likely that won't be until near theend of the season though when things start winding down.

with day one patch say codemasters mouth ago! ridiculous!

Are you sure? In anything I've read they've only said livery updates would come "post launch", and that's been the case in previous years.

I think we should wait until all the reported bugs are ironed out before we worry about livery updates. I mean, I've only personally played 6 hours on 2017 thus far (trying to finish S3 on 2016 first) but based on what I've heard and seen from other players, focusing on a livery update doesn't make a lot of sense right now. To quote what Bronson said:

A livery update is the least of Codemasters problems right now...
And rightly so. Codemasters released a bugged game, a great game at that but bugged. They need to take care of the kinks before anything else.
