The Grind is over

Finally finished career.

The worst single player in a racing game ever. No structure, no real reward, repetitive races, etc...

The AI are abysmal. They don't even take the apex, they kind of brake and then edge over to an inside line and get crappy exits, terrible racers. Thats probably why I found myself restarting races over and over because I was being taken out by these psychos race after race.  And who programmed them to bang and barge down straights? What is the end goal here? 

I feel a sense of achievement but not that I completed the game, It's because I know I never have to grind and fight through simply the most gruelling, ill thought out career mode I have ever played.

What a Slog.....But I did it.

Did not even do more than 10 races in career... my exact thoughts were "fuck this shit, im going to multiplayer" xD

Dont see why you'd bother.  

For me career mode is for those rare days when Xbox live is down.  Or for PS'3 users when their network has been hacked again. 

I tried career, whilst I was at work,  I was sooooooooooooooooooooooooo bored, I couldnt be botherd to complete the 1st event.

Personally I enjoy career mode but then I've always prefered playing as the lone wolf anyway and playing SP modes

Single mode is great in this game besides the AI being unpredictable it's great that it is long . Im sick of finishing games in a week .I will say 200 would have been great instead of 250 tho online. If not for data corruption I'd be at lvl 350 now though.

I always go onto completing SP before heading to online.

I would've enjoyed the Career mode a lot more if it wasn't for the AI's massive amounts of aggression. CM generally do quite a decent job with AI, but what happened this time?!

They inspired in a ramdom online race, then they should thought that was just like "real life" :p and pasted to the AI. I have no other reason to believe that they tried to do a different thing......or at least test it. Somedays depends on humor someones is but finally is irritating as hell.

I too enjoy the career mode.  I just stay out of the AI's way and do not restart any races.  If I get hammered, so be it.  I've always thought that too many of us drive like it's not real life.  We would never try some of the stuff in RL racing that we do in a game.  If I see an opening I think to myself "could I, would I do this in a RL race" knowing the stewards are watching.  At that point the opening is usually closed so I stand pat.  So I don't win the stupid race or series.  I usually don't online either.  Just at level 9 and season 27 across the board.

I TRY hard too apply this tactics to my online races. I have more fun when i think that i'm racing like a pro in RL. And IMO it's only possible when u have a wheel and use bonnet/incar view.
Different controllers and views have always made me think it is funny when i'm sitting inside my racing car (with a limited view) and someone else who uses controller and chase cam (with much better view) sees me as a little person inside a little car.
Like this where i'm inside that blue car :)

All i can see here is @revesburger and @flowaangelz having a racing incident.  
Revesburger in the red, and flow in the blue.  
Revesburger didnt have anyone left to take out, and flowaanglez forgot to start, so revesburger has turned around to come back to smash flowaanglez.

LoL ok the guy just refered that plays the destiny this time , he did not even discuss about it.. o:) and i think its not so bad to say something about other games in any game's forum.. :|
I have no the same opinion with NoSskilz offcorse cause i am still enjoying GAS a lot , waiting today the new touring dlc like an hungry dog :p , plus i hate future-space games like Destiny...FIFA 15 , NBA 2K15 , Project cars  to play until maybe my best game ever to come .. Its called GTA V B) ! Any new DIRT game would be wellcome too !  :#
