F1 2014 Singapore Grand Prix

Recommended Posts

Expect the race to hit the 2 hours limit easily, especially with a SC.  It looks like it will be tight on fuel as well. As always the forecast says rain for all 3 days but it's never going to happen :p

Have we ever had rain at Singapore? If no, wouldn't that cause problems with light reflection from the tarmac? Sounds fun. No really, Maldonado might mistake the track with a landing strip, getting lost and never coming back in the process.

Thanks Mike. If it rains in Singapore, hopefully they won't cancel the race.

I think it depends on the intensity. But given it's Singapore, if it's going to rain it's going to be a thunderstorm.

Hamilton, Massa and some of the others basically need to be talked around the track, I can see issues appearing. Hate to say it but Vettel and Rosberg types are good at sorting issues out themselves, then there's Kimi who is probably a bit happier now.

Isn't Rosberg the one calling for "driving advice" all the time?
Both, but Rosberg a bit more I guess. But remember we don't get to hear all the team radios, i.e. I read on F1 Fanatic that a team told them they broadcast around 300 messages while the F1F transcript only had 75 (from all teams!) at Monza.

Had a dream that Maldonado ends up on top of a barrier in practice. But is it really a prediction if he crashes every weekend?

Also read the title as "Hamilton's wet dream" Awkward....
