F1 2017, PS4, Grand Prix Mode, changing controller or restarting Playstation changes car performance

Recommended Posts

Game - F1 2017
Version of the game - Latest updated  - 1.05
System - PS4 [Original Console type]
Game Mode - Grand Prix, [Australia - Melbourne Grand Prix Circuit, tested multiple times, unknown if bug/issue affects other races as well]
Race Controller - Standard PS4 controller

There is a issue/bug in Grand Prix mode that if your car is setup or tuned to your liking, after shutting off the PS4 or changing controllers and returning to continue the game, the car performs vastly different even though the setup you have chosen is correctly displayed and shown to be the one in use. To continue with the actual setup you have chosen, you must complete the Grand Prix in one sitting, otherwise, your setup will be different upon continuing after any of the above scenarios. So far I have only tried this on the 1st Round/Track listed under Track Select, the Australia - Melbourne Grand Prix Circuit, but I can duplicate the behavior anytime I want on this circuit, so I have not even tried the others as it is very frustrating. Has/Can anyone else confirm or deny this is an issue/bug? Thanks in advance.

Found the answer myself here..

Basically can be solved by changing Throttle Saturation in Preferences>Customise Controls>Control Schemes>Calibration. Also helped me find my steering needed calibration as well, hope this helps the next user...
