Hi! Thank you for a great game but I have found a bug. Rules and flags seems to disappear when I load a mid-session save in the career mode. Before the save the rules and flags worked just fine.
Race length: 100%
Difficulty: Legend (95)

Yes, same as me. Today I  load a mid-session save in the career mode, rules and flags is clearly disappear! (PS4)

I am an online championship administrator. I can not create multiplayer rooms. After choosing the tires, the screen remains loaded and does not advance. Any solution?

Some of us has the same problem as you can see in that post.

http://forums.codemasters.com/discussion/57992/online-championship-stuck-on-please-wait#latest

Furthermore, we only could create and entry a lobby when only the host start the sesion in practice mode, and then, when the host was in the box, all the drivers join to it.

Please @jennyannem @F1Support confirm that you are aware of that issue and recovery asap as possible.
This is something we're aware of and are investigating.
Thank you for your response!!!
We're looking to get a fix out - thank you, as I said in the other thread, your videos really helped us!

Since doing the 1.6 update I've had 2 career races, Brazil and Abu Dhabi, both times the whole field, bar 2 or 3, have taken grid penalties. I know its the end of the season but that is rather extreme!

Thanks for letting us know - is this at 25% and the same season you were playing pre patch 1.5?
Same season as pre patch but 50% races throughout.

It's been like that since 1.3, maybe even 1.2. Happens more if you're doing 25% and practice sessions.

Ok Xbox one 1.6 patch just downloaded on my career I'm at Spain. So time trial with the mclaren with my setup I got a speed of 310kph before I braked that's stock and a time of 1:21.898.

For true comparison I will take my results from qualifying as in time trial the engine is failed to max which you can only done in qualifying.

So on the career with a fully upgraded power unit in terms of power as i havent upgraded fuel efficiency, and some drag reduction, downforce, chassis upgrades I get a top speed of 302kph in lean mix and no DRS

But for qualifying I get a top speed of 324kph and a time of 1:19.942 obviously a bit of that is weight, less drag and more downforce but all in all I'd say it's a 12kph boost from 1.5 to 1.6 I was expecting a bit more seeing as it was the slowest car in terms of engine pace. I would have expected to be in the high320kph with a fully upgraded engine like 328kph it doesn't sound like much but it doe make a huge difference.

I hope this helps people out a bit in terms of the upgrades working.

12kph at those speeds is a lot!!! It takes so much hp to gain 10kph at 300kph. So the upgrades are working well it seems now.

I can't wait to upgrade my McLaren engine.

It is a great feeling to be in a mclaren and have it in lean mix and not get overtaken in the race. I turned it up if they had Drs but still it was a great feeling not to have to compromise my setup so I wasn't breezed upon down the straight

Thats awesome, i have to run a skinny rear wing this season. I told myself i wont do any performance upgrades until i have all the reliability maxed. So its a long road still but it'll make it that much more fun in the lon run.

So now the Xbox patch is out I can carry on with my McLaren career. Let's see if all my engine upgrades now actually work. It's Spa next so they best do!

Oh my god. Stay cool everyone. IT is just a game and not reality. They will fix it step by step. Why are here some people who say that they can not play career before it is fixed?  I play and it makes lot of fun.
Finally someone talking some sense. I'm on Singapore and I'm loving the game. Best career mode yet.  There are no bugs that stop you from playing career mode. I trust Codemasters with racing games. I've been playing their titles since Toca 1 and 2.

Couldn't agree more the only problem I had was the Honda engine glitch
Was that the McLaren parts that keep failing? I'm McLaren and that's happened a few times.

I think there is some work to do on the tyre compound bug, witnessed by about 700 people live on YT

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LypbafvgGfc
I think you forgot to mention a wet/dry race with three tyre compounds used and time code 1:07:16 in the video. And the DSQ was for incorrect tyre compound use. Evidence in the stewards panel at Apexonlineracing.com

I think the Devs may prioritise this one

At first, I though I was too good, but now that I've seen you talking, it seems there is a glitch with the 1.6 patch.

Indeed, there is. I'm in season 3 with McLaren, which still is the second worst team on the table chart. Eversince 1.6, I finished in the top 10 in ALL 6 races, including a win in Monaco. And that win in Monaco brought to my mind another problem with the game.

I won because I lost a front wing in lap 6 on a 25% race and the SC came in. I pitted, repaired the wing and went on SS tyres. I got back and nobody pitted, adn when they did, they rejoined the race behind me, and obviously could'nt pass me because it's Monaco.

I also qualyfied 9th in Canada. Before the patch, I only had points in the previous 2 seasons in chaotic, rainy races. In dry conditions, I had to grind my way to stay in 14th, 13th, 12th.

Ok, I was playing in the 90 difficulty, so I guess I'm gonna shift the slider to the right. But it seems to me that Codemasters didn't solve the problem, they just made the game easier overall. There needs to be a balance in that.

Yeah i used to have to fight hard in the race to get 8th back at 85, now at 95 in Canada (not a McLaren track at all) i wualified 8th and i get 9th on the race without too much trouble.

I think it got a little easier as well

I'm never buying an f1 game off code masters again and please change your name from codemasters, it's like false advertising or something as your far far far from masters more like amateurs of code at best, this game is so bugged is unbelievable it really is how can anyone defend it I'm sure it could be on patch 9.99 and it would still be the new no mans sky of 2017

I've found it just right I've gone from 80 to 95 because I now have the engine to do it and not get overtaken. I qualified second in Monaco. But in the race the Ferrari just drove into the distance he was around 0.5 to a second faster. But that's because I have the 4th best chassis the 4th best aero. And all the power upgrades. The Ferrari is miles ahead in terms of chassis and aero.

I'm sure the fuel efficiency gains a bit of performance.
