Where is the 1.06 patch for Ps4 ?

I regret buying this unfinished and unpolished game. I could have bought another good game for 60€ like Nioh, Nier Automata, but i saved that money to buy a game that i thought it would keep me playing for a very long time, because i really like F1 and i watch every race weekend on tv. But i didn t open this game in a week now and that says it all... btw i have ps4 version, which as of now is the worst version

I started my career with McLaren and feel it's a waste of time to carry on until the patch. On top of this the online portion is unplayable for leagues at least. Well done codemasters, I feel like you have stolen my money and time as you are going to reset the stats that rank that I worked for due to being incompetent.

when you have to wait a month after release date to play a game properly .. cant even continue career mode waiting for these bugs to be fixed since 26 august ..

Ive restarted career twice. Now waiting on patch 1.6 and honestly probably 1.7 and 1.8 as the 1.6 patch wont fix the 'too far behind SC' bug or the 'A.I always pitting 1 lap after SC' bug. Not to mention that my Renault gearbox is on 52% wear after only 102 laps already having 2/5 durability upgrades done (was just about to start Practice 1 of race 4). I was getting a warning from random jeff late in the 3rd race about gearbox wear. Career is in the bin until everything is sorted,,,, only plus side is at least with the time trials i should be a lot better at every track by the time i get to start a new career.

Not to mention that my Renault gearbox is on 52% wear after only 102 laps already having 2/5 durability upgrades done (was just about to start Practice 1 of race 4). Wow. I keep playing Dirt Rally instead of purchasing Dirt 4 because I believe after all I have read that D4 is a step backwards overall.
And I keep playing F12016 instead of purchasing F12017 for the same reason. It seems like CM took a diamond (pre release F17 which reviewed brilliantly) & pooped out a lump of coal (D1P version).
It should be a given that each new iteration should be a step forward, not backward, but shamefully it is not the case.

Wear rates arent too bad if you upgrade the reliability. I restarted my McLaren career and im just doing all the reliability upgrades, then ill work on buying discount pricing for engine upgrades until i have it maxed out. Then once 1.6 drops ill start doing actual engine upgrades.

Its still a fun game, i did bite the bullet and took a 5th of everything (gearbox also) in my second race (China) since i knew me first engine was gonna be junk after 3 races. So now i have 4 new engines still and i have only spent my points on reliabilty. So im about halfway upgraded in that area.

So a gearbox is meant to last 6 races. 3/6 races done you are at 52%.
1/5 durability upgrades is that 10% upgrade, 2/5 is when the first 22.5% upgrade is added. 
There's still 3x 22.25% upgrades you can add, also the 2/5 upgrade you added wouldn't have kicked in from race 1.

So the gearbox wear isn't a bug, you just have to accept that you're going to take a few penalties for season 1.

Cant add them if i dont have the resource points. I know the 1st upgrade doesn't kick in until china but to be on 52% wear after only 3 races and min practice laps and one shot quali seems a bit high to me. Considering its around the 55% mark where you start to see faults emerging. If the faults occurred at 70 - 80% then it wouldn't be too bad. Ive binned career for now anyway. Just turning TT laps until the game is at least 90% functional

Ark13700 is right. Your wear isnt bad.
Just spend the point on upgrades. After the first race you can only upgrade that first hex. But after china you can spend 3000 points on all reliability upgrades. Theyre cheap anyways. You can upgrade at least 6 things once practice starts in china.

I just got to Spain,  and i have
General Wear 1/1
ICE 3/3
Turbo 1/3 
Energy store 1/3
Gearbox 2/4
MGU-H 1/3
MGU-K 1/3
Control Electronics 1/3

Thats 10 reliability upgrades before im starting Spain.

And 174 points to start saving for more turbo upgrades.

I keep going back to DR. Best racing game on console.  But f1 2017 is much better than its predecessor.
