Slicks in Intermediate conditions are a joke

Recommended Posts

The right time to pit in this game is whenever DRS is enabled/disabled. Maybe a lap sooner if its drying, but otherwise thats when its worked for me and ive undercut something fierce snd gained a lot of positions.

So it's still the same as in 2016?

Lap 11 on the singapore grand prix. Spray almost completely gone, half of the grid is still on WETS.

EDIT: Lap 15, no spray at all. 12 drivers on intermediates, 3 on wets. These guys probably don't understand damp conditions.
EDIT2: Lap 25, first drivers on slicks. Lap 28 Hamilton says intermediates are still pretty good.

Because of the humidity, Singapore is not a good example. Track doesn't dry that fast as it does on other tracks

Do you drive in a wheel? Because if it so, thats the problem. Same here. Probably you have no assists, so all you can do is fight with a IA that have no problems to find the best grip possible. The transition is horrible too and intermediate compounds have no use. Do you have noticed how can they brake in the same spot that dry races have? It's nonsense.

What I do? I turn ABS ON. That's the only way to compete with this IA on rainy conditions. Or I just give up. Because it's a pain. The handling is good, but IA act almost like have no rain at all.
No the problem is you lack talent.  I have a wheel and pedals, zero assists, AI 95 and find no problem keeping up with them in the wet, in fact I find them too slow compared to the dry at the same AI level.  And no they do NOT brake at the same point as the dry, basically everything you said is wrong.
