F1 2017 - Xbox One - Black Shadows Covering the Track

• Issue: During certain sessions the track is covered in large, almost pitch black shadows. I have noticed this in Career, and it seems to occur most often during overcast weather conditions. The most obvious issues have come at China (below) and Hungary, but I have noticed it at other circuits as well.

Yes I agree. This still happens in 1.7. I have just finished the race at Hungary which seems to be worst. Parts of the track seemed to be in total darkness. Need headlights. Unrealistic.

Firstly not trying to take away from the issue, but I am not experiencing this on the Xbox S.   Started playing before the 1.6 patch was applied and have never seen anything like this.

I am using the disc copy, not sure if that would make any difference, but its crazy that a minor upgrade to the xbox makes such a difference with this game.

Thanks for reporting this. It's a bug we're aware of and that we're looking in to. If you see this problem rebooting the game will make it go away again, just make sure you take a mid session save as necessary so you don't lose any progress.

It is now 11 months since this thread was created and 10 months since Codemasters reply "It's a bug we're aware of and that we're looking in to." and this is still happening? Why has this not been addressed?? It is obviously something to do with the 4k graphics on the Xbox X as my Xbox one is fine. I paid good money for this title only to find I have to keep closing the program and restarting it! Also, the onscreen graphics in the corners disappear too, so I cant see my lap times, my speed or any other information. I think this is going to be the last F1 title I buy if codemasters are making it! I own all titles from 2010 onwards and there are still bugs in all of them that just never got ironed out. Bad work codemasters!!!
