and saw these....

They could just be the F3 again....but why would it be there 3 times..?

Stock Mazda RX7 inbetween the F3 and R8. Street Racing class maybe? Drift?
One on the left could be Formula Ford, no?
The one on the left looks like Formula 3, think you can just see the intake on the left hand side of the car. The other one may be the smaller formula car that was in the original Grid (think it was Formula 1000 or something like that?)

The front looks too curved for another Formula 3 car though. Yeah that was Formula 1000, looks like it could be. We will see in the coming weeks

huh. Post not sent for the 2nd time. I shall post without quoting then. Anyway, I'm hoping the one on the left is a formula ford, but with this res and distance away from the car, it's impossible to tell if it has wings or not (Yes, I know the new 'uns have wings, but it could also be the road Legal Formula Ford). I'd be surprised if it is the F3 again, as why would they include it twice?

But yeah, we'll have'ta wait, but it's still fun trying to guess! :D

True, but the one of the left looks as though it has a rear wing and although its almost impossible to tell, the rear wing just doesn't look right for the newest spec Formula Ford to me. Suppose we'll find out soon

A little conjecture here with regards to the tracks:

Given the following in the announcement:
"GRID: Autosport will feature 22 locations with a combined route list that totals over 100!"

And this quote from James Nicholls:
"... we decided to do one more GRID game with our existing technology last year, after we shipped GRID2" (Bearing in mind that this quote is in full regarding why this game won't be on Xbox One or PS4 - The full interview is here.)

Now this doesn't mean that there won't be any new tracks, but there's probably going to be a lot from games released by Codemasters with the Ego engine. Keeping that in mind here's a list of what's available. If it's already confirmed in GRID: Autosport I've put it in bold. Parentheses indicate where it appeared before, with RDG indicating the first Grid game, G2 indicating Grid 2, and F1 indicating any of the Formula 1 games between 2009 and 2013. This list includes tracks that were only downloadable content. I've organized by nature of the track, because the games have some overlap. Clearly, some of the Formula One tracks are incredibly unlikely to appear. The way this game has been influenced by our feedback and the ammount of postings I saw that mentioned Bathurst and Brand's Hatch, their presence would not surprise me. And since the game is already confirmed to have Indy Cars, Indianapolis Motor Speedway is probable. Circuit de la Sarthe in Le Mans is a possibility, too in the endurance field.

Race Tracks:
  1. Albert Park (F1)
  2. Algarve (G2)
  3. Bahrain (F1)
  4. Brand's Hatch (G2,F1)
  5. Catalunya (F1)
  6. Circuit of the Americas (F1)
  7. Donington (RDG)
  8. Estoril (F1)
  9. Hockenheim (F1)
  10. Hungaroring (F1)
  11. Imola (F1)
  12. Indianapolis Motor Speedway (G2)
  13. Interlagos (F1)
  14. Istanbul Park (RDG,F1)
  15. Jarama (RDG)
  16. Jerez (F1)
  17. Le Mans (RDG)
  18. Montreal (F1)
  19. Monza (F1)
  20. Mount Panorama (G2)
  21. New Dehli (F1)
  22. Nurburgring GP (F1,RDG)
  23. Red Bull Ring (G2)
  24. Sepang (F1)
  25. Shanghai (F1)
  26. Silverstone (F1)
  27. Spa Francorchamps (F1,RDG,G2)
  28. Suzuka (F1)
  29. Yas Marina (G2,F1)
  30. Yeongam (F1)

Street Circuits and Point to Points:
  1. Barcelona (G2)
  2. California (G2)
  3. Chicago (G2)
  4. Cote D'Azur (G2)
  5. Detroit (RDG,G2) (possibly for Demolition Derby mode only)
  6. Dubai (G2)
  7. Hong Kong (G2)
  8. Long Beach (RDG)
  9. Marina Bay, Singapore (F1)
  10. Miami (G2)
  11. Milan (RDG)
  12. Monaco (F1)
  13. Mount Haruna (RDG)
  14. Okutama (Toyko Prefecture) (RDG,G2)
  15. Paris (G2)
  16. San Fransisco (RDG)
  17. Shibuya (Toyko Prefecture) (RDG)
  18. Valencia (F1)
  19. Washington, D.C. (RDG)
  20. Yokohama (RDG)

EDIT: Strike through the point to points in Grid 2 except Okutama which was a circuit in Race Driver: Grid. Struck through the street circuits that only appear in Formula One games, simply because I find those to be incredibly unlikely. Confirmed Detroit, as that's the location used for Demo Derby thus far, and Loore said something to the effect that those 2 circuits are likely to return with Demo Derby in another thread.

    EDIT 2: More tracks confirmed.

This is a VERY long shot, but:

It's been said they are playing Grid Autosport. Well, if we take a closer look at this screen...

Well well well. What do we have here? A Koenigsegg Agera perhaps?

Totally on basis of the shape of the headlights, and how they are elevated.

This is a totally long shot...and probably wrong, but eh :P

That smallish car on the right behind the oper wheeler looks like a fiat 500?

@Loore @justbiglee Can you confirm that?

Don't forget, there ain't any point to point circuits in Grid Autosport, that's already been confirmed.
Struck them out on the list. Also nixed Monaco, Valencia, and Marina Bay. Those just seem very unlikely to me.

And to the OP: That Nissan R-35 GTR Super GT500 in the front row is a Touring Car. The Japanese Grand Touring Car Championship just starting working with DTM rules a couple of years back - so you DTM fans might be in luck.

Sorry, just to make sure, is the Nissan R-35 GTR Super GT500 being added to touring cars?

Makes the most sense to me. I'm just some guy from Texas who likes racecars, so my word is hardly ironclad, but you'd call a DTM BMW a touring car, no?

Pretty sure there only called DTM?
“Deutsche Tourenwagen-Meisterschaft” (German Touring Car Championship) would be the origin of the acronym, though I'm not certain it stands for anything at the moment.

@justbiglee just mentioned in the weekly update topic that the other computer was playing on Paris, so I'm going to add that in as well :)

As for the others, they're a little too ambiguous to recognize. Hopefully we will be able to add them to the list when we see a little more gameplay and pictures!

GRID:

Just finished three races at Shibuya.  I wouldn't want to base an entire game on it, but it sure makes a great break from more established racing disciplines.  What a blast.  Couldn't possibly be dropped from GRID A, could it?

I think this is the Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG (thanks to its front grille) seen in another Grid Autosport screenshot. And the C63 is actually used by Ravenwest so it quite makes sense.
