"Downloading content"

why does it constantly keep saying "downloading content" in the top left corner? Usually happens in time trail

Yeah, I saw this the other night and thought "Ooh, a new patch downloading.".  Sadly that wasn't the case.

It can be updating the TT tables as they are dynamic? You know, just an educated guess.

Yeah... but it sits there the entire time... even if you switch game modes. I went from TT to a 50% online and it stayed there

Hello guys.
Yes it is always there for me as well.
No Mather what I do the downloading content box is always there hiding the session update like flags status and that stuff.  There is no difference if I am in multiplayer, Event, Career or Time Trial. It is always there.
