Traction control off broken on career mode

Recommended Posts

Played career mode yesterday after patch ( I run no assists) and no problems if I put too much power I would lose traction but today I can plant my foot down exiting corners and won't lose traction at all. Checked my settings and they haven't changed. This is only happening on career mode and not online and am on PS4.

you mean as the weekend progresses?? thats called reality.
a green circuit has no rubber from cars driving around on it... as time progresses as more cars hoon around the track.. the track gets "rubbered in"
as a race progresses, you can increase your dif setting for on throttle to higher % and still get there abouts the same level of 'planting your foot'

different tracks also have different grip levels because of the bitumen used on the tarmac.. this is why crofty will sometimes say this track eats tyres for breakfast.
then theres track temperature, both surface of the track and the air.

F1 drivers don't 'hoon'. FIA approved #HaloGoodbye safety first, thanks.

I don't need an explanation on track evolution or diff settings I know all that. This is a real problem for me now as there is no challenge in controlling the car as it feels like I have full TC on, even in wet conditions. Fp1 exit pits turn off pit limiter foot to floor no wheel spin back end doesn't slide first corner cold tyres foot to floor so much traction. Like I said this has only happened since patch so nothing to do with the track having more grip.

I am at first career season, round 6 - Monaco, and I am having massive oversteer due to rear traction lost during corner exits. Majority of corners in Monaco are made using low gears, just where lost of traction is easy to happen.

In F1 2016 cars could easily lost traction at gear 5, but in F1 2017 they are hard to lose traction in gear 4. From 1st to 3rd gear traction loss are just around the corner  :D
