Dirt 4 PC problem with Logitech G920 brake pedal

Recommended Posts

Hey there guys, I'm new here

I'm having a HUGE confusion trying to play Dirt 4 using a G920. The brake pedal is always at 100%, but I even don't press it. If I press, it goes again from 0 to 100%, and if I release it, turns to 100% again. Can someone please help me fix this? I know that is a problem on Dirt 4 game, 'cause I play Dirt 3 too and works normal, and another racing games works fine too! I desinstalled and installed again drives from Logitech, but the error still the same. I tried to modify the inputs, but this don't go away!

It's frustrating! Because last week, I was playing normal with this wheel, and now this happened.
And when I start to play Dirt 3, the wheel works fine, without the brake problem.

Can you guys help me, please? I really love this game.

Make sure you have disabled Combined pedals in Logitech software.
It's already disabled.

I desinstalled the game, now I'm downloading it again to see if it fixes.

This was tricky but the problem is that all values are set to negative in the g920 config file.

using notepad edit :
Steam\steamapps\common\DiRT 4\input\actionmaps\lg_g920
select and replace all type="negative" by type="positive"

Get back to the game in the control section and reasign your controller the default g920 values.
That's it! It will fix you pedal proble, and the autoscrolling in the menus ;)

Have a good game!
