Any big update for F1 2017?

Always amuses me what some kids find to whine about.  Are you racing a car or busy inspecting every sponsor logo to make sure it's 100% accurate.  You do realise liveries/sponsors can change almost race to race- do you expect CM to patch the game every few weeks just because one sponsor has changed on one car?   They are doing an update to the liveries next patch but people still find the time to cry as if this is a critical part of their lives.  Laughable.

I also wonder if these people who complain about the liveries because of the 'realism' aspect race cockpit cam with all assists off at 100% difficultly

So I can only ask for liveries if drive with assists on 100% AI? I'm sorry sir. Didn't knew you couldn't play with assists and ask for something like liveries. How stupid of me to not think of that.
/sarcasm off.

Well i don't think anybody should care about liveries until the game is almost bug free. But i think you have missed what im saying. My point was that i wonder if people who complain about the realism of liveries actually DO play 'realistic'. Im sure many of the livery group do not and therein lies the irony  of complaining about the realism of liveries.

It absolutely devalues your arguments, yes.

People who play the game are generally fans of the sport, they want to see the most current cars they see on tv.  You dont have to be playing in cockpit mode with 110% AI to justify this.  Yes there are bugs but they will be dealt with in the patches too, the people who deal with the bugs are not the same people who do the liveries so the visual updates aren't slowing the game being fixed.

Well they actually are delaying bugs getting fixed. Trying to get a patch out eith enough thing in it in a reasonable amount of time means 'fixes' have to be prioritised. Now if people make enough noise about liveries then they are going to make that a priority pushing another fixes to the side. So yes, yes it does affect the game play bug fixes.

Aust you're completely missing the point here. The design teams are separate. The livery updates were probably ready weeks ago. They just needed offical team approval which is likely just an email reply needed.

If they were ready they would've been pushed in their own update, the same with the performance updates since those are just down to changing a few values (and they did, in fact, push the driver performance update, which is in the game already). This isn't Playsport - CM don't shy away from releasing patches that only contain a few small things, and the liveries would fit that description. In fact, if they're doing just that now, then they're stupid for doing so.
