NONSENSICAL CALCULATIONS

I'm 4 on the 22 lap. At least 5 cars behind me with the closest about 3 seconds. I decided to pit which was a near perfect pit stop. Just to come out and find that the same 5 cars are all in front of me with the closest at 7 seconds. Another strange occurrence is in Q1 I found myself  3RD with 5 seconds left of the session, just to find myself 19th after the 5 seconds. I noticed only 8 cars were out on qualifying laps. There is no way with only 8 cars out, 5 seconds left of the session that they managed to better my time. This game is full of bugs.
