Damage model

Recommended Posts

I think the damage model is good in this game but it could do with improvement like being able to damage side of car or other areas like the underlay but because you can go over massive curbs without damage to suspension or the underlay or smash into the side of someone and have no side damage at all , I just think it’s make the game more interesting rather than just front wing and rear wing because say you run wide or hit a big curb or maybe have side contact with a car then you should get damage because it will cost you for making a mistake or having contact and will effect the race think it would be more challenging and better tbh

Due to licensing they cant make the cars look too damaged like a serious accident. Also, what settings are you on. I have simulation and small bumps do no damage, however, wall rubs at Monaco last night put my tyre off the rim three times, it went flat, and then you could see delamination after a lap, where the tyre destroys itself
