1.9 F1 2017 : Invitational Events

Recommended Posts

Patch notes:
- In career mode players can now use the laptop and not lose the opportunity to compete in a invitational event.

NEGATIVE. Not the case. Patch not working.
You see the selection event screen and you press back to go to laptop. There is a pop up message that says smt like "You will lose the opportunity to participate in the event etc etc"
SO-> Either CANCEL gives one option: you to go to the event or OK cancels the event and gets you to laptop and only possible next step is to go the next weekend. EVENT is lost again !!!
THERE is no way to access laptop, spend your resources, and then start the invitational event !!!

You are wrong! When you chose to do the event, you will have access to the laptop right away(the pop-up of the event will just disappear), and you even have to start the event from the laptop menu, like every trainingsessien/quali/race by pressing "X" (with xbox controller).
Maybe you should first try it out properly before leaving bad/angry comments/complains...

I am playing on PC, so YOU ARE WRONG!
No reason to insult people that try to help you understand how it is working... It's not my fault you can't seem to understand how it works... Get someone else to help you, it's too much of a waste of time if all i get is being insulted for helping... bye

it works on a PC just fine. Select which invitational event you want and then it will take you to a laptop. Dont cancel invitational. Select one of two options. You will get to the laptop right after that

BabisD I think you have misunderstood the message. It's saying if you do this you will not go to the event and you're selecting okay to say you don't want to do it. Select Cancel instead.
