Dirt 4 exploding Frametimes

Recommended Posts

Hello,

like many others I've got the problem, Dirt 4 (and Rally as well) stutters when I use a steering wheel. I have a T150 (Thrustmaster).
I wrote to the CM support but they only asked for a dxdiag log. Since I sent it, there is no answer.
There are so many hints in the internet, but nothing is working for me.
I know, here are threads with this problem already. Sadly there is no more reaction, so I want to push the topic, because I am not able to accept, Codemasters release games (Rally and 4!) not working with steering wheel. When the games were ... I don not know ... like a strategy game, okay. But racing games having problems with several steering wheel, even using a clean Windows and different steering wheel from different manufactures?!
Yes I use the latest driver (TTRS_5), but nothing helps. As I implied, I have the problems even with a clean Windows (tested 8.1 GDR2 and Windows 10 (x64)). A different USB-port is not the solution, really I tested such - normal - things of course! And it happens only with Dirt Rally and Dirt 4 (I do not have other games of Codemasters). It does not occur with Project Cars (1 and 2), Forza, Corsa, with no other game. Only the two games of Codemasters ... they are stuttering. Here you can see the problem. As many people wrote, the FPS are stable, but nobody looked for the frametimes. They are the source of the stuttering:

And no, there are no ingame settings, helping to solve this problem, please, do not ask for something like this. I was clever enough to reduce the graphic settings to test. Without the steering wheel the frametimes are much better. To unplug every USB device except the steering wheel is not helping as well.

I am really sorry for my English, I hope you are able to understand my sentences.

Best regards.
