ThatSillyGinge 0 Posted October 28, 2017 Hello!Since Patch 1.9 on PC (Steam Download), I've been having an issue with the game crashing mulitple times per race weekend. In Baku, I've experienced one crash during Practice 1 and one crash halfway during the race. I've not yet been able to finish the event as a result. There is no error message displayed, the screen simply returns to the desktop, and the game closes, with no warning or symptoms. For some reason there's only one dump file available despite crashing twice in quite succession.Baku Practice 1 & Race, Career Mode, Version 1.9 on PC{ "EXE": "F1_2017.exe", "Version": 366893, "Exception": "EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION at 0000000076FB8F24", "System": { "ProcessMask": "3F", "SystemMask": "3F", "Memory": { "Resident": { "Current": 5860233216, "Peak": 5900914688 }, "PagedAllocation": { "Current": 6507741184, "Peak": 6677684224 } } }, "Session": { "GameMode": "gm_career_2017", "Ruleset": "race", "ID": "race", "Track": "baku", "AssetGroup": "asset_groups/environment_package/tracks/baku/wep/baku.assetgroup", "Driver": 20, "Errors": 0 }, "FlowState": { "Previous": "InstantReplayLockFrameRate", "Current": "InGame" }, "FlowTransition": { "Previous": 1, "Current": 2 }, "Graphics": { "Vendor": "0x10DE", "Device": "0x11C0", "Driver": "NVIDIA 38165, r381_64", "AvailableVRAM": 0, "TotalVRAM": 2036992 }, "SystemInfo": { "ProcessorName": "AMD FX(tm)-6300 Six-Core Processor ", "ProcessorArchitecture": "x64 (AMD or Intel)", "NumberOfProcessors": "6", "TotalMemory:": "16284MB" }, "OperatingSystem": { "MajorVersion": "6", "MinorVersion": "1", "Version": "Windows 7", "ServicePack": "Service Pack 1" }, "DisplayInfo": { "Display_0": { "Name": "NVIDIA GeForce GTX 660", }, "Display_1": { "Name": "NVIDIA GeForce GTX 660", }, },}Graphics Card: GeForce GTX 660 2048mbCPU: AMD FX-6300 Six-Core Processor (3.8Ghz)RAM: 16GBOS: Microsoft Windows 7 Service Pack 1 (build 7601), 64-bitI'd appreciate any insight or suggestions.Cheers

Try the optimal settings as suggested in Steam.Unless of course there is a specific issue that CM know about.
ThatSillyGinge 0 Posted October 28, 2017 Thanks for your reply! I updated the graphic card drivers whilst making this thread and still no joy. Had another crash, this time towards the end of the first race of the Modern Cars Sprint series.I changed the graphic settings to the optimal settings as suggested by Geforce Experience, that's not changed anything either. Here's a dump file for the latest crash (Note the drivers are now updated){ "EXE": "F1_2017.exe", "Version": 366893, "Exception": "EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION at 0000000076E28F24", "System": { "ProcessMask": "3F", "SystemMask": "3F", "Memory": { "Resident": { "Current": 4971577344, "Peak": 5376507904 }, "PagedAllocation": { "Current": 5868445696, "Peak": 6182842368 } } }, "Session": { "GameMode": "gm_Modern_Sprint", "Ruleset": "race", "ID": "race", "Track": "suzuka", "AssetGroup": "asset_groups/environment_package/tracks/suzuka/wep/suzuka.assetgroup", "Driver": 20, "Errors": 0 }, "FlowState": { "Previous": "InstantReplayLockFrameRate", "Current": "InGame" }, "FlowTransition": { "Previous": 1, "Current": 2 }, "Graphics": { "Vendor": "0x10DE", "Device": "0x11C0", "Driver": "NVIDIA 38800, r387_90", "AvailableVRAM": 0, "TotalVRAM": 2035904 }, "SystemInfo": { "ProcessorName": "AMD FX(tm)-6300 Six-Core Processor ", "ProcessorArchitecture": "x64 (AMD or Intel)", "NumberOfProcessors": "6", "TotalMemory:": "16284MB" }, "OperatingSystem": { "MajorVersion": "6", "MinorVersion": "1", "Version": "Windows 7", "ServicePack": "Service Pack 1" }, "DisplayInfo": { "Display_0": { "Name": "NVIDIA GeForce GTX 660", }, "Display_1": { "Name": "NVIDIA GeForce GTX 660", }, },}I'll check for updated mobo drivers with AMD. What else could be causing an available VRAM of zero? Could that be why it crashes?
