What difficulty for carrer

Recommended Posts

Well right now im playing at 105% and managed to get 2nd in quali at Monaco and Baku in a Sauber . I got promoted to force India and am getting pole by about half of a second. and am winning  races . I feel like i should up the difficulty to 110% but is it too much?

I’m no expert on the subject, but I’ve read 1% difficulty roughly equals .1 seconds in lap times.

You can always experiment when you get to Q. During the loading screen entering Career from Main Screen, go into options and adjust AI DIFF. Try it out. If you still need to raise/lower, Quit to Main Menu, re-enter Career from Main, go into options, adjust again.

What I would do is turn the game on, go into settings, adjust the difficulty slider to 110, start a session and try it.

How are we going to know what is a good difficulty for you?

Play at a difficulty which puts your Sauber in 15th-20th place during a qualifying session. If you're qualifying in 2 with a Sauber then 110% should be right for you.

Do you use elite settings? Have you turned off helps like restart or switched on collision damage to simulation?

I used this tip. Worked well for me but I'm not on your level.

And I need to rerun it because of natural improvements as I get more familiar with the tracks and the game in general (something felt wrong when I qualified my Haas with two aero upgrades second on the grid at Azerbaijan!).

Definitely a handy benchmark tool though.
