I'm going wait 2 month before deciding on making a purchase!

I only have two issues with f1 2017 at the moment multiplayers bugs and wheel input device being far to op over controller input device. I've raced in same league for 3years for 2years everyone did use a controller and competition was close exciting. Since some of guys jumped to wheel for this years game 2 of slower guys who ran controllers are dominanting the pack in dry races in this year game. Acceleration difference on corner exits to noticeable other 0.800-1second on overall lap to pad users. I have a fanatec for xbox360 played forza for years but haven't got room for a new rig and wheel as my spareroom is now a gym as my other hobbie is MMA. I've got to point I am starting to lose interest in competing playing game as I dont have wheel xb1 and I'm not planing on making another wheel purchase! 
       
Also i hope codemasters open beta to public so everyone has say this year!

None of the above. I have just purchased F1 2017 from GMG at a discount + a further discount using a provided code, so ended up getting it for 24USD. Started playing last night.

It's a maybe atm but it largely depends on the features given I only make use of the singleplayer. But really I'm not sure atm as I find from an SP point of view I'm finding 2017 to be close to the perfect game for me.

F1 2017 is amazing! I love the game. If 2018 doesn't turn out to be what we expected or people don't want it simply for the Halo 2017 is a great alternative. This game will hold its value and play-ability for a long time. I do have faith in Codemasters though. I think F1 2018 will be great.

Yeah it's more the fact that with the exception of the French GP returning it's largely the same calendar as we've had for the last few years. I'm just not sure it'll be worth it atm considering the graphics will likely be the same as it is right now. So unless they can out do 2017 which with everything that's in it I think will be hard to do I'm not sure. But yeah I can see myself playing it in several years time same as I still do with 2010 and 2012. I would say 2010, 12 and 17 are my top 3 CM F1 games atm with probably 2016 not too far behind.

F1 2017 is the best F1 game ever made. Until there's competition I'll buy and play the best. I have fun whenever I play it and after 100 hours I have only seen 1 bug.  o:)

Not necessarily he may have just been lucky after all I didn't run into any problems on the 2016 game but I have ran into 1 or 2 on 2017 although not enough to spoil my enjoyment of it though. It just depends on what hardware your running and how you have your system configured.

how are these people still in business?  they are constantly putting out broken software, underdeveloped software, and scamming the community.  yet you people still put up with it...put them out of business so a company that cares can be built up and we can have good games again.  these are the modern equivalents of the atari et game...

I can agree with the single player aspects of the game. I can't spot much in the way of problems majority of the time apart from the odd bug every now and again. Main issue is when you venture into the multiplayer section of the game (time trial/Custom lobbies, implementation of rules, safety car etc) problems can occur most of them not internet speed related. As codemasters themselves would try too convince people otherwise.

Well in my case it's not really been a problem to me as I don't touch MP I stick to singleplayer and for me in that regard for me the last couple of games have been close to perfect.

I will buy F1 2018 **IF** there is an option to remove/hide the Halo from the cockpit view.
if not, I will save my money and continue to play F1 2017, which isn't a huge issue as I only play career mode anyway, not online.

Hey RhinoCharging how did you manage to get a refund? I've been back to GAME, terrible company by the way, and they told me I had to get in touch with the clowns at CM. Which I did and was told to go back to GAME as it wasn't there problem. Passing the book seems to be something both these trashy companies are good at.

Not really. This really is the best game by far considering the features and overall handling of the game. Yes, there are annoying bugs, mostly multiplayer, but those pretty much existed in all of the titles.

Not really. This really is the best game by far considering the features and overall handling of the game. Yes, there are annoying bugs, mostly multiplayer, but those pretty much existed in all of the titles.

It depends on your experience of the game tbh. If single player is your thing it's understandable I only wish the online was as stable and the safety car deploys properly. Issues have existed in all the tiles in the last few years. It still doesn't excuse the fact they abandon issues still present with multiplayer after they've said it's been fixed. More support is needed. Instead of "sorry but we've taken your money we won't fix the online" blame it on your internet connection only for the cycle to continue again the following year.
