scissorfighter 0 Posted November 25, 2017 I'm running F1 2017 1.10 on a new iMac 27" retina late 2017, 40GB RAM, Radeon 580 8GB, High Sierra 10.13.1. When initially launching the game, all audio works fine. Music, sound effects, race introduction commentary, engineer speak, etc, are all good. But as soon as an actual race begins, there's an audio burst in the speakers, and all sound EXCEPT FOR THE ENGINEER stops working. No music, no engine noise, nothing. After the race, you still can't hear any music but commentary works sometimes. The only way to get the audio working again is to quit F1 and relaunch, and then it only works until you start a race again! This is a new problem that just started happening about a month ago. Prior to that time, all audio had been working fine. The problem occurs about 90% of the time. One out of ten times I might get a session where the problem doesn't occur. Here is a screen recording of an example session where this problem occurs. https://vimeo.com/244410853 . Notice all audio works fine until 0:57, when the first race starts. The "pops" heard at 0:57 and 1:51 are bursts of distortion coming from the computer speakers. Please excuse the low-quality sound overall, it was recorded using just the computer internal microphone. But you get the idea. Thanks for the help @F1Support!
