His review was mostly based playing on a pad. I play with a wheel so this doesn't apply to me.

Interesting what some are saying about the pad vs wheel differences.  I think I read somewhere that Codies have been doing this since 2012, but I can't be sure since I don't have a wheel to test it with.  I can easily make the car spin out with a pad in 2013, but maybe there are some hidden assists in there that I don't realize.

None of the reviews mention that CM are charging full price for "something so closely resembling a free download from a community modding site".  Reviewers don't have to pay for the games of course.  If they'd factored that in their scores would be even lower.

PC Gamer - "Never before has Codemasters delivered something so closely resembling a free download from a community modding site."

Obviously if you buy the game then NO they don't have to listen because you buy it anyway.  The ONLY way to them them sit up and take notice is NOT to buy it this year.
I have bought it for the last 3 years,  but enough is enough and this year I won't buy it.

Don't count on it, mate. Remember, CM said they were going to start all over with 2014 with all of the new rules and regulation changes, new tracks, new driver line ups, new liveries and so on. Once they finished with 2014, they moved onto 2015 with the limited amount of time they have to work on it as it will be released months before the typical release date around the month of October from previous releases. Instead of paying attention to everyone's reviews, hopefully they're scoring big on 2015 with all issues and glitches that have been floating around for years and making improvements.

Correction on the Eurogamer review, they said F1 2014 has all the sessions. It hasn't, and hasn't had since 2011, when Hood decided he didn't want to play them.

Eurogamer also said this: "There is at least one other new layer of authenticity for this year's game, though; charging full whack for what amounts to a slight downgrade is the kind of one-sided deal that would do even Bernie proud."

I only read the VVV review. Doesn't seem too bad bad certainly not worth full price. Will probably get it in the new year as the gameplay sounds good, despite everything else sounding really poor.

And VVV said May for F1 2015, just a guess I'm sure?

the games not full price if yous took the time to actually look for the game, steam has the game for $50 and theyre normally one of the more expensive places

I bought the game for 25 USD and couldn't be happier. I knew it was going to a be a stop-gap filler game since the next gen one is supposed to be out so soon.

I was not going to pay a full 50$ for the game.

Extremely worrying. Not bothered about stuff that's been cut-out, but very bothered about pad getting even more dumbed down than it already is.

Accesibility ruined pad  users gameplay.

Good job Steve. Keep promoting the casual over your true old followers, and sink the gameplay into nerdgasmic levels of retarded simplicity
